I started these two in a 2x2 tent with one spider farmer sf1000. At week 2 I added another sf1000 which was a newer model and noticeably brighter than the first.
I quickly realized the 2x2 tent wasn’t big enough.
Around week five i got a 4x4 and moved them into it.
So now I needed more light.
I was looking into bar style lights but after looking around a bit I found some reviews of the vipar spectra xs1000. Same samsung diodes as the SF1000 with an additional 32 diodes, meanwell driver and slightly more wattage and cheaper than the SF1000.
So ended up getting 4 and moved the sf1000’s back to the 2x2 for clones and seedlings.
I’ve added a window unit to the room and dehumidifier.
So now it’s 6 weeks from the first sprout.
Have done some minor pruning around the bottoms. Probably going to keep in veg for 10 weeks before flipping.
Keeping ph around 6.1, temps around 78 during light cycle and 70 overnight.
Humidity arou 45-50.
This my first growvso im learning as i go along.

The beginning of our grow journey can be quite expensive lol. Break even will happen soon enough once your settled in and have a few more grows under your belt. Looking good!
What trays are under them? They’re nice.

I still put back $25 a week like i used to spend on flower. I think my grow fund is now close to $3500. There might be a few extra dollars in there from bartering with friends too.
