Every Grower here that I have met IRL is wonderful. I know you would be the same. Hope it does all works out and a clone or two are shared. My outdoor grow is probably 75% from swapping with @graysin and @Growingforothers at the NM con last Spring.

They will first ask if you are a grower. Never let on you you are newb. Tell them you have been growing about five years both indoors and outdoors which establishes credibility.
They will ask what nutrient line and medium. Tell them what you use now but that you like to experiment with different lines and products to increase your yield, bud size and terpene profile.
They will ask how many plants you are growing. Always state the legal limit for your area.
Another tactic is you say your friend could not make it and they wanted letās say Mammoth P or Fishshit. Ask them what are the benefits of this product and listen to the spiel. Then you ask that sounds like it might benefit my grow. Could I get a sample for myself?
Another way is to say that you gave away the samples of XYZ to your growing friends after the last con you went to and they liked it so much they started buying it.
Finally there are times to play it differently. I wanted some grove bags. I went that booth and said I have always used mason jars and my grow friends are encouraging me to switch. How are these easier or better?
Sometimes you just stop and stare at something and ask what is this for? Or is this something a homegrower could benefit from? That booth I got a bag of Teflon plant tags samples to attach the the trunks. If nothing else you will at least walk away with a handful of candy and a lighter.
Actaullay I did not have to lie since each scenario was true. The five years was a stretch until I counted in the years of dropping bag seeds.

After chatting with some growers that breedā¦
I have at least three beautiful girls pollinated. Chopping an ILGM chocolope, ILGM SLH and a candy cream this coming weekend.
A couple more are suspect. At least the ILGM strawberry cough is still spitting whites.
Goodbye to my possible entries for BOM.
Wind is predominately from the west but a bee visiting hemp patch dude to the east, five doors down, could have done it.
Such a bummer and I am very sad after nurturing these girls since 4/1. Dang rapists
