Could somebody explain to me how a granddaddy purple auto flower?That was given to me.It’s nine foot tall and it’s started april sixteenth

Must not be a auto. Not including April that’s 13 weeks not likely to be an auto. Nice plant I love grand daddy purple. Congratulations on your grow
I’d bet it’s a photo, these are GDP autos. One is over 5 feet tall so far, I’ve had autos grow taller than usual this year.
He ordered from a different site in a wear auto.Flowers unless a feminize seed got dropped in there

There is no bottom to it.I dug a foot and a half below it and added soil or twelve by twelve by 24"deep

Perfect! Drainage is so important.
Anything can happen when buying from a seed dealer.
I had an auto flower on my last grow take 11 weeks in vegetation before she started to flower. She did about another 14 weeks in flower. Everyone said it was a photo. She got 6 ft tall and did over 1 lb of weed. It was just a stubborn autoflower.
I truly believe you’ve got a photo. You’ve done an excellent job with it. Keep doing what you’re doing and the only thing can happen is positive! Patience is the key

Recessive auto gene, happens often.
I’ve taken 3 different clippings.I use clonex and I’ve tried honey.They will not take.It’s definitely an auto flower.I’ve never seen 9 foot tall One of that can be in a guinness book world records
A coordinated anything I can find the tallest has been 4 foot tall.Well , I should be able to make a spook of world records by nine foot
They WILL get tall sometimes! I have two over five feet now GDP and here’s a Bubba Kush auto from last year outside grow that’s well over 7 ft, I’m 6’1” for reference.

Height of a plant doesn’t really correlate to development of a plant. I have seen 4’ tall plants with 4 nodes that wouldn’t produce more than 10 grams of dried bud, and I’ve seen 3’ tall plants trained to a trellis that produced 2 pounds.
Getting a plant that is suspected to be an auto to veg for months without flowering isn’t behaving like an auto. Someone could have unintentionally placed wrong seed in the bag, but its more than likely a genetic issue. Like all of the photoperiod traits haven’t been removed in the back crossing process.

I have one now that i thought was an auto and when it started to get taller and exceed the time i thought it would, I went back to check…turned out to be a photo so now im just waiting. Just started to preflower and i planted in late April. Ride it out and see what you get.

They were purchased as auto flowers.I have done four different clippings using clomax and I Have made tons of clones if it’s an auto flower they don’t take And I.
Done four clippings and they don’t take And it’s weird to see an auto flower.Nine foot tall seventy showed me one they have at six Tall.I just think it can go in the guinness book of world records
