While I don’t think this is any kind of an emergency, I thought I’d reach out for some feedback on what might be normal stage growth.
Lats year I had too much product. It was a great year, but I can’t smoke that much.
This year I decided on some GREEN CRACK seeds. It’s nice to explore. I only have 2 plants this year. One is 6 -7 feet tall and for months the leaves keep turning yellow on one plant, but not the other. They get the same feed based on the ILGM fertilizer schedule, All conditions are the same and no I do not check ph and the like. I’m a simple farmer with the mindset that a plant will grow with a little tlc. Now they are flowering and I expect the yellow leaves. It’s just that time of the year. Any idea of the yellow mystery. I’d figure a nitrogen deficiency, but why one and not the other. Something to talk about with your buds. Look forward tto the feedback. Thanks y’all

A few pictures would help the community help you troubleshoot… It would make this easier, and more accurate.

-Method used to measure PH and TDS
-Indoor or Outdoor if indoor, size of grow space
-Light system List brand and wattage/spectrum
-Actual wattage draw of lights
-Current Light Schedule
-Temps; Day, Night
-Humidity; Day, Night
-Ventilation system; Yes, No, Size
-AC, Humidifier, De-humidifier,
-Co2; Yes, No
If growing Hydro some additional questions:
-DWC? RDWC? Autopots? Ebb and Flow? Other?
-Distance of liquid below net pot (DWC)
-Temperature of reservoir
-TDS of nutrient solution
-Amount of air to solution
I am slowly learning that two plants of the same cultivar may look extremely different in structure of the plants and the flowers. Just like humans. Brothers and sisters of the same family can look very different and even have differences in health issues or allergies. Just grew 2 Afghan that were slightly similar but the bud structure was different. Currently have 2 Candy Cane with different bud and plant structure.
As mentioned pics would help others assess what you’re seeing. If you dont keep numbers (which is fine) that eliminates another tool that can be utilized for possibilities of cause. Ultimately as you mentioned, if they do not look to distressed to you, might just be individual variation. I try to read my plants in conjuction with other readings. If I get bad runoff numbers but the plant looks healthy I trust the plant. Yellowing is common. If it becomes widespread there might be a more serious issue. At 6-7’ I’m assuming they are outdoors and this has been a brutally hot summer. One plants physiology may be less tolerant of heat?

Outdoor grow in the ground. They are not autos. They’re in a trench about 16" x 16". The trench is 6 foot long or so. I spent a couple of years mixing various soils together. Some came from the local dump where they give away. Anyway last year it clicked pretty well 7 lbs from 3 plants. We did have some hot days this year, but it hasn’t been that bad. We had one stretch of 100 plus days, but that’s expected. As far as the ph goes I do not trust my probes. I’ve bought several and none of them seem to respond when I set the meter for PH. Kind of wonder if they ever worked so I just don’t use them But if you need to know they read above 7.0. Here’s a link to the pics I just took. Strange part is that the plant only seems to yellow on the west facing side.

Thanks bro. Every year’s an adventure. Being that I’m fairly new 4-5 years in I have a lot to learn. By the way I like pig ears and a good piece or rawhide now and then. Can remember playing left field chewing on my baseball glove waiting for some excitement. All the, best the pupperdog
