Good Morning
Here is a update on my Gorilla Cookie Auto I’m a little worried some of the leaves are turn down growing in a closet with light and small fan! Help what should I do? I see some buds tryna grow I did stress it about a week ago cut off all the big leaves. Any suggestions??
Leaves turned upside down is not to much of a concern. As they still absorb light just not effectively as they would face side up.
Defoliation seems like it’s a bit much but it’s not the end of the world, just allows for better air flow and light penetration. I would say hold off before doing anymore. Ideally you want as many leaves as possible. Tuck and bend them away if you have room. If not only take leaves that are crossing each other, ones pointing into the plant and ones blocking any bud sites.
Auto-flowers have a set flowering time so seeing buds now is not a worry for concern, she’s just getting ready to switch over as she hit her maturity. Keep light dialed in at 12-18 inches away from plant canopy (depending on wattage of light) intensity should be around 65-75% once you see buds form go ahead and max out at 100% (this is what I do with a 100 watt light)
Keep humidity around 40-50% I like to dial into 40-45% come end of veg and into flower. Have air flow blowing up from bottom of plant and have a fan blowing across canopy. Don’t have the fan on a crazy high setting. Just enough to pushing around stale air pockets that could form.
Aside from everything plants are looking pretty healthy and you’re on the road to success. I’m sure I did not cover all bases and more people will chime in soon but it seems to be like you got it under control . Welcome to the grow fam !
Solid take!
Learning from legends like you !
Over plant looks healthy. Leaves clawing down are typically a sign of nitrogen toxicity, the leaf tacoing is a sign of the environment being too hot
