Gradual is good, kick them up like 15-20 watts every day or 2 til they’re maxed out. Want lots of light in flowering. Temps and RH are good.
thank you sir.
So I have this still going on with #3
Stunted and terrible growth. I did everything suggested and she still has issues.
The rest of the plants in the 4x4
and the 4x8 8
I am not sure what to do about #3.
I cut away all the diseased, dead and dry leaves. Some of it was pretty old. This will give me a better Idea of whats going on and let the plant focus on new growth. shes been flushed and feed as instructed so unless there is a bigger underlying issue she should be bouncing back. still so much smaller than the others.
That’s about all you can do, flush and feed. Every time she needs watering, I’d make sure to get plenty of runoff from her, make every watering and feeding a mini-flush for her, will give her the best chance at better health.
thanks. thats what I have been doing. Good and dry then water with a good amount of runoff. edited wrong plant.
yesterdays watering was in 1155 out 1600
See if she likes the bloom nutes any better, some plants are happier once they hit flowering and start getting the higher P&K of bloom nutes.
But ya never know, plants are kinda like people, some are going to big and healthy while another plant getting the exact same water, nutes, everything, is going to be sickly no matter what you do. I’ve thrown plants out of my tent just because I don’t want to look at their sick ass any more.
I hear ya. At least it will be a learning experience. I’ll take all that I can get.
I have a question.
So these photos were yesterday. They are over an inch taller today and bigger. Much bigger. It is shocking how fast they started growing after I switched to 12/12 and started the bloom nutes. Under the top canopy or set of leaves there are many bud sites. I have bent twisted and pruned leaves back to expose them however there are dozens upon dozens. Some lower than others. Some right thee trying to get through.
At this point from the top set of leaves or node should I say ok you are not going to make it? OR when is it just to much and some have to go. Some branches have a dozen little growth nodes coming of of them. Or is this what I want?
What I did, was pick a point on the plant, and removed everything below that point. And after stretch I hadnt removed nearly enough. But I think it depends on what your doing? Im sure an expert will answer better.
what am i doing? I’m just trying to grow some weed here man. I was instructed to maybe not scrog my first grow so I am a little confused. these things a getting big.
Im reading defoliate prior to flip which I did. Then dont touch it during the stretch and then once it’s done you can get in there and prune it up.
I dont know. this looks like it is about to get unmanageable. I need some advice thats for sure. I would hate to see all this work go to waste because I missed a step.
I’m 1 week after flip to flower and I cleaned up today and plan on cleaning up once a week until end of week 3 beginning of week 4 and then leaving it alone. I have no clue how to use this scrog but I’ve been told the buds will end up bending everything over if I don’t set it up by week 4.
I just ordered some netting from amazon. Don’t know if it is any good but it was cheap. which probably means it’s crap. unfortunately it wont be here till Wednesday.
I can’t remember what I paid but that’s better than what I got. It was pretty much a roll of net that you size out and cut then just figure it out. It’s a major pain. The little bungie hooks look way more convenient even if you have to sure it up with zip ties or something.
no idea how great it will be. I know its probably a little late. If anything it will be in there to support branches. By the looks of things I have bitten off more than I can chew plant number wise. I did not in anyway think I would be this successful and fully expected there to be casualties. Thanks to everyone here I now have A serious space issue occurring.
@Hellraiser I have some strangeness going on with todays watering. I am going in with 1/2 strength nutrient. @ about 1375 ppm.
one plant #5 had runoff showing 2900!. I rechecked my mix and and it was not high. Last watering was water only with cal and had runoff of 1462. I gave a gallon of ro and cal and brought ppms down to 1800. I am also seeing slightly lower ph runoff 6.6 in 5.6 out.
Plant 7 is also high at 2200 ppm runoff with a 5.8 ph . last watering with water only was 1460 runoff.
I tested with two ppm meters but they will read 200 off from each other at times. I then dropped on in a tub of water and it hen read 5800 run off so thats probably broken.
it also took a lot more water to get runoff today.
Is this a sign of salts buildup and telling me I may need to flush? the plants look really healthy otherwise but i know that can take a turn quick./
I think I might be chasing ghosts here with these run off readings. Some are right where I would expect them to be and some are wild and way off but the plants look great. So I will observe the plants after this watering and go from there.
#12 is a beast. I have literally snapped the tallest branches over breaking one and mending it with E-tape only to find this in the morning
No signs of even the slightest damage but thicker stems. shes 6" taller than the next tallest and 29" from soil to top. 9 weeks 6 days from breaking ground. she was also first to sprout.
