day 1 of flower is in the books. I will say this again having to deal with two tarped tents a 4x8 and 4x4 sucks. huge pain in the ass.
I pulled all the trays and elevators and washed them off real good. I also cleaned the inside of the floor of the tent with peroxide. I also did some fan adjustments…
Another thing I took care of was some cable management. When All my lights were lower there wasn’t much cable left to the lights to deal with. Now that they are at the top of tent I have a good amount of excess. it had previously been wrapped up sitting on top of the light., Yea,. so I bought some Velcro straps of amazon… super handy.
I coiled up all my cables and got them up out of the way as well as all the pulley ropes. Now there is nothing on the heat sinks like it should be aside form the connectors and little solid core wire.
no plants got watered today. some were close but not quite. the big girls that are dry in the 4x8 will be getting water only (with cal)tomorrow. The 4x4 girls will be getting a dose of bloom nutes and 1/4-1/2 dose depending on their looks and last ppm out, with their watering then just water on the next one.
I have one plant. #11 which is showing a touch of some crispy upturned tips after the last watering. Ppm out on that plant was 2200 on the 20th. I should have only gave 1/4 strength or on the 24th or water only as there are obvious signs of nute burn and ppm out of 2100 with ppm in of 1120. Lesson learned.
Did i mention what a pain in the ass having tarped tents is? 
aside from that plant and my lil crispy #3 all plants look good. wait I take that back.
I found a plant that had a hole in a leaf. not a tare or rip. but a hole about the size of a cigarette burn. I couldn’t find any leaf eaters about. Ill have to look them over good next watering.
I did kill a cricket in the grow room the other day however. There are 1000s of them just on the other side of the wall from my grow. They part like the sea before you when you walk through the grass. anyway I actually anguished over it. I normally would have gently scooped him up and took him outside but I literally just smashed it without thought. The second I did that I thought, What the &**! are you doing man?
anywho here they are. Pre trim this morning. They got sorted out pretty good and look more manageable. Ill grab a photo tomorrow. thanks again for everyone’s help. I couldn’t have got this this far without you.

Imagine those dudes tarping those HUUUUUGE greenhouses in Northern Cali. Hopefully that new tent comes. And hopefully its better.

im watering all the plants today. first time every they were all dry at the same time.

Should I feed this plant a gallon @ a 1/4 dose or just let it dry and and go from there. 660 seems awfully low. Looks like it ate up all the food from 3 days ago.

Yeah 660 is getting pretty low, but if you already watered it and it looks good at this point, I’d just let it go til next watering and kick up the nutes to 1/2 dose.

she was still running off so I gave about half gallon of 1/2 dose to give her something to chew on.

brought it up to 1450. i am sure some of the is straight through runoff though but there is something in there now to hold her off.

watering day. all 12. good times. 4x8 12 got just cal and Ro water .average. PPM In was 475ish out ranged from 1420- to 1700 on the high side on one plant. most wee right at 1400 runoff ppm. runoff ppm I managed to get right at 6 for most pots. 5.8 on the low end.
No longer needed ph down as I have a pretty good log and know what nutes now bring the ph to what level. So i am only using ph up. I did make a couple mistakes I think and only gave a half measure of ca las the ph was way high high when I took the reading. this happened twice and I could have swore I gave the right amounts. At this point I re calibrated my apera ph60. I then realized I have no ph meter back up and ordered the ph20. I almost flung my ph60 on concrete shaking the water out earlier as well. As for the questionable water. I just dumped it and started over.
the 4x4 … uh 4. all got some form nutrients including tiger bloom… next watering will be water and cal only for them. The 4x4 got mopped with peroxide and all the trays washed as well. And I just realized I forgot to take the T6 pre filter off and wash it.
I washed the T8 pre- Filter. Also an Ac infinity filter a few days ago. I ripped the pre filter to shreds taking it off some how. It may have hung up on the mesh i dont know. I do know when I messaged AC Infinity asking if they sell pre-filters they emailed me back with the tracking numbers to my free replacement pre-filter. Best customer service EVER.
The local and only grow shop owner told me to look into Nectar for the Gods line of nutrients. He said he especially used their finishing products and herculean harvest for cal.

I moved the filter and exhaust fan outside the tent like I had it previously. It was for some reason much louder hanging in the tent than outside. It was also starting to bow a support rod and taking up some space making things look cluttered. Also the filter was so big it was at the half way point in the tent and I think causing poor circulation. Now intake air comes in on one side down low, gets pushed by a 9" fan down the bottom middle and circulates back along the side by two other 9" fans on the opposite side bottom. I put a shoe box in there to raise the one fan up off the floor. I then have two 6" fans intake side blowing a gentle breeze above the canopy towards the exhaust port. I get nice air flow that way I think.
I broke the tallest top on my biggest plant also. I was bending the tops over because this plant several inches taller than the others. I got to the last top and I cracked it 1/4 of the way through. I slapped some honey on it and e-tapped it real tight. So we will see if it makes it.
I also raised the lights all the up without the addition of just going straight to ratchet pulleys at the corners. The tallest was 
30" from the lights.
All the plants look great besides crispy meal #3. I will take some photos later of this plant and maybe we can go over options. It is stunted badly and not well and i dont want it bringing disease into the 4x4.
all the plants have huge new growth and good color. a big contrast from a week ago when I had some not so good looking color.
all 5 lights in the 4x8 are @190w 30+ inches from the tops. I raised turned them up a little yesterday. @Hellraiser you mentioned maxing the lights out after flip which was two days ago. should I gradually do this? The outside 240s are 10" from the next. The middle (one) is 7" from the inside two total of 5.
Temps right now in the tent are 76F under the canopy and 79-81 Rh spread is from bottom, at canopy and a foot above. 67-61-54. 67rh is at the exhaust side down low, 61 is intake side canopy height. and 54rh is mid a foot above.

i forgot. the water drum… So I am filling up my 2 gallon jugs yesterday doing the ol’ dip the jug in the water method and I am seeing some floaties in the water. I pull the jug out and the label is peeling off and shredding in the water leaving bits of label and glue… 
I used a fish tank net and removed everything i could but the stuff at the bottom of the drum luckily I used so much water yesterday I was able to roll the drum outside and pour it out and clean it.

These came today. I ordered 4 for the grow room area.
Looks like the way they work is if fire touches them it sets off a quick burning fuse that makes the ball explode putting out retardant in a several foot radius.
How well ti works I have no idea and hope i never find out. I plan on putting one above each driver board and each tent.I will be honest I am a little leery about this thing going off on its own.
I watched a video where it didnt put out a raging inferno in a dumpster but thats not what I am trying to do.

Hmmm IDK man, I think you should take one out back and test it out, also record it so we can see!! lol Those sound neat, and you make me feel like im not taking enough precaution in my grow, as i dont believe there is even a fire extinguisher in the house.

when I say leery of it going off. I mean really worried it will go off. lol. there is no coming back from the mess this makes and the damage to electronics.
Thats why we should see exactly how much of a mess were talking about here!!!

Good thinking…How much were they? I should at least have an extinguisher i feel like
$30 a piece. a company called eldie that makes the original. you will see these be called knockoffs but hey what isn’t. the eldie are $100 or more a piece.

@Jackie_Daytona just catching up with your grow, it’s looking great. Man our grows are totally different. I’m in FFOF and only use organic amendments. Dude I’ve used my PPm meter once. LOL, I think the reading was 3800ppm ,I never used it since. I envy your control over feedings ,but I see the bumps in the road until you get your grow dialed in. I will switch to 12/12 Wednesday . So good luck with the rest of your grow .

thank you. When I first started taking reading the OF was off the charts high like that. Now that it’s been depleted I am starting to see what nutes effect the scale and how much. Huge learning curve. good luck with yours Ill head over and check out your progress.
