Gold Leaf Feminized @ 6 weeks — trying to estimate time to harvest

My Gold Leaf Fems are at week six of flower and they look somewhat promising. Am I correct in assuming they have another 5 — 6 weeks before it’s time to cut?

The buds are dense and pungent. Sadly, the plants are on the small side and I question how much it will result in, but it’s my first grow and I’ll be happy with the lessons learned and one bud, though I believe I’ll have much more than that.

Two to 4 weeks to go yet. Perhaps another week or so longer if you are looking for amber.

Im about there myself. I’m 3 days into the 9th week and they’re creeping along. I always anticipate the rippening phase. Its a slow and gradual process. I’m watching my Peppers, tomatoes and Brussel Sprouts rippen right along with with my cannabis so I’m getting a pretty good indicator here. My tomatoes are just about ripe. I started them the same time i started my cannabis. Any day now…just have to be patient because if i harvest before their time it will be a shame after all this work to get here.

@MartyMarajuanaseed — Yeah, the waiting and anticipation is the only downside to growing. I’m not inclined to patience so it’s difficult for me. A new life lesson1

Hoping you have a bumper crop!

Thanks dude. . This is my first time so I’m super curious how its going to taste and what its going to be like. I am definitely in suspense also. Its like watching a television series on TV waiting for the final episode. As long as it dosent end like the walking dead did. LOL

@MartyMarajuanaseed — Too funny! I liken it to when I was a kid and had to wait a week to see what happened when Fonzie jumped the shark tank.

I’ve found if you have plenty of good stuff left from the previous harvest, it makes the waiting much easier. And I don’t even smoke. I grow it for my wife, but I love growing it, so it all works out.

Thats awsome… growing it out of pure passion for the plant. People like you is the reason i was able to smoke it through out my life. If everyone grew it for personal use there wouldn’t be any for the rest of us.

@Dexterado — That makes sense to me! I’m excited for my first harvest.

Yes! Peppers are a horrible tease! Tomatoes almost as bad. But both prepare us for the waiting game that is weed.

It gave me a chance to learn how to grow plants before i started growing cannabis. Kind of like joining the little league baseball team to be a pro. Now I’m using them for an indicator…lol… i have ripe peppers and tomatoes but no buds yet. Its gotta be soon. I’m in my 9th week now. Bag seeds so i have no idea what strain they are and what to look for other than cloudy to amber tricohomes. Not quite there yet but the sugar leaves are full of amber. I think they’re toying with me…
I’ve noticed a little more bud swell this past week so, I’m real close to the finishing line…

these aren’t recent. They are from last week. I dont want to open my tent up and disturb them so I’ll upload a few recent ones next time i have it open. I will try tomorrow. I’m just checking them every 2 days now.

Thank you but i seen where i could do better. They really could’ve beneited from a bloom booster i believe. Or i should’ve fed a strong formula for what i run. Plus the pH got away from me in a couple plants and they almost got pollinated by 3 males i had to cull out. I’ll get some up to date pics tomorrow. They’ve changed drastically since last week.

@MartyMarajuanaseed — You know how it goes. We try, we learn, then we adjust worth the next grow. The journey is the reward. You plants look MUCH BETTER than mine do.
