Hello,
I need someone with more experience than me to look at my photos to see if these plants are ready for harvest. I have a few grows under my belt, but I’m always indecisive. I forgot the date when I planted my seeds in the dirt, but looking at the picture below, I think it was around week two when I started my IGLM grow log.
GodFather OG Fem has a 7-9 week flowering time. I’m currently nearing week 17, but in reality, since I didn’t start my log until about week two, I should be at 19 weeks from seed. https://ilgm-growjournals.com/journal/1427-godfather-og-fem/week/1
Almost ready for harvest?
Should I start flushing?
If I add on the additional two weeks that sets me at 10 weeks of veg + 8 weeks of flowering=18 weeks, or 126 days from seed.
Good morning. You aren’t alone on deciding when to harvest. In my opinion you are super close. Lots of cloudy trics. Do you have a picture of the entire plant?
Thanks this pic is from a few days ago. The fan leaves are starting to yellow. The back left plant is sitting at 2000ppm, the back right is at between 1100-1800. The left front is sitting at 1200ppm and the front right is like 1500ppms.
I think some of my problem with this grow is I didn’t remove some of the weak bud sites pre-flower. Still trying to hone in on understanding how the plant’s energy is distributed…ect. I really appreciate you looking at this with me!
Gorgeous! +1 on super close, there’s some amber too. Maybe harvesting in two stages is a thought if you think some is ready in the coming few days and some could use another week or ten days.
None of this means anything. Photos aren’t counted by total days. There’s 2 stages veg and flower. Veg is the time it grew before you flipped the lights. How long did you veg? Flower is the grow after you flip the lights. How long has it been since then? You can’t count total days with photos because it’s up to the grower when to flip so total days are going to be different. Flower times should be pretty consistent though so that’s why we count flower weeks
Thanks Sandy…Good idea of doing a partial harvest. I was going to cut maybe the first 6 inches off the tops, then let the bottom ripen more… I notice the buds start to get softer about 6 inches down the stems. I wanted to wait for more amber
