Gnats and Taco Leaves

Looking for some help from our forum experts

I just can’t seem to fix my girl. I have 6 breads I ordered goldleaf, AK-47, blueberry, and amnesia haze from you. Wel I have another plant that I kinda stumbled upon the seeds it’s suppose to be “OG” but idk but anyway

This is what’s goin on my leaves are having the taco effect and tips are dieing and stuff I’ve already tried adding magnesium with epsom salt added to my water and it’s not fixing it can you please help me out her I can send you pics of your other girls if you would like just tell me lol. But I’m also having fungus gnats just a mistake from a beginner over watering them. So if you have any advise please let me know.

How close are your lights and what type of lights are you using also what the ph of soil and water ?

Agree with @Countryboyjvd1971 pH looks like it is a problem and the tacoing is usually a heat problem from lights too close.

@TxGrowman
Oh yeah, if you get enough of them they will destroy your crop. My own personal experience. lol. Hated it.

Need the support ticket to narrow down the guess work.

Is it possible that the taco leaves could also stem from the high root temps? I can’t move the Sun any further away! Lol

My auto in the full Sun has them. It’s the one that gets the most direct light whereas everything else only gets a few hours full with the rest of the time being filtered through the trees.

To cool off the root temps I’ve increased my watering schedule. I should have used mulch of some kind, but figured being an auto it wouldn’t be there long.

Anyway, maybe the root temps, but really need the ticket…

You could try out something like this. Amazon.com

Ok I sent this to ilgm direct my ph is right around 7 a little to alkaline but I have gnats from over watering I’m a beginner but I’ve done everything I can to get rid of the gnat but I’m not sure it’s working she still looks like shit man

but all of my plants need to be more acidic how can I increase the acidity in the soil I heard vinigar and water but that hasn’t worked either

I also transplanted this one into a pot and I didn’t get it deep enough and my top roots were exposed and I thought that was maybe what caused this was the roots getting hot I put her in this spot and I have the mosquito bits on them trying to bring them back but who knows

I have 2 150 watt HPS lamps and this one and another aren’t under it directly and also I have almost 2 feet of distance from my lights to my 2 autos and they are tall it’s deff not the lights

It looks like your soil has way too many nutrients in it and that’s the purpose for the leaf tip burn … you probably need to do a flush and check your ppm’s in the soil and get your pH adjusted…
Also you can fill out a support ticket to try to get you a better answer…
Also I would suggest that you do less watering… that is the reason for the oily nats…
:v: :sunglasses:
