You are getting there, I would say four to six weeks as a rough estimate.

I flipped mine on June 2 and am estimating harvest in mid or early August.
Yours may finish quicker than mine as yours do look to be a week or so further along than mine.

Looking really nice @Audiofreak, just don’t get impatient. Your patience will be rewarded with fatter, denser buds.

Is this what I’m spose to be looking at???

Looks like it. You’re looking for the tear drop shaped parts (calyx) that the hairs come out of. All the white pistils you have make it hard to see them. Once they start degrading, they’ll be much more visible. Here’s a close up from my last widow. That’s the calyx

Ya I finally can ID them. The strain (a Dutch strain) averages 8/9 weeks flower ± a bit I’m sure.

Beautiful you should be feeling good. I agree with Merlin let those buds get big as possible. Towards the end is when they really pack on weight. Good luck finishing up.

Ya their getting fat and nasty right now! But a couple -A- three weeks more and they may be bending stems!

Here is a photo of mine taken this morning, 31 days after flipping, 87 days since sprouting.
This is a Gold Leaf Clone

You can see the pistils just starting to darken. When most pistils are red/brown and receded I start monitoring trichomes very closely.

She’s pretty all right. The hairs are getting darker on mine as well.

I Bought a pack of those little bamboo sticks yesterday for supporting limbs when Bud’s get to heavy.

I use them as well but only on the two plants each grow that don’t have a SCROG frame.

Without support they will definitely fall over and possibly break off.

I have to gold Leafs on day 75 from seed. Running out of room fast. I have raised my lights as high as they will go. I am bending and pulling now.

Just reading my grow notes and had a brain fart. If I flipped to 12/12 on 5/30 how many weeks are they now??? When do you start counting weeks of flower??? Are mine 6,7,8 weeks old??? Ya I feel stupid!

That is an often debated question. I have spoken with a number of growers and breeders and there does not seem to be an answer that everyone can agree to. That said, it is only an estimate. Each specific plant will have it’s native behavior but environmental factors also play a role.

Mostly I start counting when I flip since I only use it as a VERY rough estimate and watch trichomes to determine harvest time.

It is worth noting that each and every person that I spoke to on this topic felt strongly that their answer was the obviously correct one.

Strongly held opinions are no less opinions than wishy washy opinions.

For my part, I don’t know when the plant is “officially” in flower but I do know the exact date that I flipped the light schedule.

Ya I get the estimate thing. However I just got surprised. Being a little HAM HANDED 2 days ago while trimming some leaves away I Knocked a small “popcorn bud” off, left it on the bottom of the tent and this morn noticed it, picked it up, hmmmmm what the hell it was fairly dry so I smoked it (about a pinky nail size) damn if I didn’t get a buzz and considering what it was, a good buzz at that. Never ceasing to be surprised. Makes me think I may be closer than I thought or this might be (strain) is better than I was hopping for. Is this unusual at this point.

Not surprising, the potency will increase as they develop but you can get a nice buzz from immature buds. You will be blown away with your final product, just be patient and wait for the trichomes to go cloudy.

Early last year I was trying to save every small bit of bud and sampled early buds, etc.

Now, I throw popcorn and larf on the rubbish heap along with the leaves and branches. Only top shelf from here on out LOL.

Just been reading along want to say happy holiday to you two guys.
