I’ve been giving her filtered pH’d(7.0) water WITHOUT nutrients for 3 weeks now and I’m still getting these yellow & brown tipped sucker leaves on various parts all over the plant [see pics]. It’s not from chemical burn because haven’tused any in 3 weeks & the dirts clean dirt every grow plus this just started a month ago so if it was the dirt it would’ve happened at the start you would think …so that leaves (pun intended) the leaf problem to either the Infinity single LED light which is producing approximately 56K-60K I believe
or somewhere in there & has done just fine before or air mixture which I have a intake/exhaust system & use CO2 sometimes & heat which stays at a comfortable 70°-72° in my grow closet of 4’x4’x8’. My routine is set just like most old school Growmie’z so * * so what the beep-beep[self editing there] is going ON???
Help because I am officially stumped! These auto flowers R touchy!!!
To start, you should be at ph of 6.5 in soil. At 7 ph, you are locking out some nutrients. It looks like a cal mag deficiency, I see your using filtered water, so you definitely need to add some cal mag. They like a good bit more cal mag in flower than in veg. Good luck!
Calcium defiency Growmie and could be PH or lack of nutrients. What was the last run off PH and PPMs
OK I’ll try some cal-mag I just bought some because I was kinda thinking the same thing but was waiting to hear from people. I’ll change the pH as well I use a old pool pH kit so it shows pee yellow as the magic color now .
I’m flushing the bucket and then giving some cal-mag and dropping the pH & see what happens hopefully I get a crop from her it’s the first G-14 that I’ve done from 10 seeds. Good 2 hear from ya!!!
These are pictures from today and its still happening. I’ve flushed it twice and gave it cal-mag and nothing else. pH’d the water at 6.3-6.5. The the TDS meter reads 210 as shown in pic and that’s from straight water. Whats going on???
The first thing I notice is the plant is sitting in the run off. The expelled salts from the run off are wicking back into the root zone. There should be some separation between the plant and the catch tray to prevent this. 2nd- the PPMs are super low, target the input at 800-1000 and the PH at 6.3-6.8
I have some 2x2 little cedar blocks that I can use thank you 4 that.
