We are all here to help.
Welcome brother and you are in the right place, many helpful folks here, plus a giggle or two.
I got the gnats down but it was a little setback in a timed o/d autoFL. A day of 40 degree cold drop and the hope of a comeback was over for me. Pretty to see 6" tall ww’s. The fungus gnat larvae did the most damage, I will be sterilizing soil from now on. OH, spray your yard. You have to do it once a month but it makes a difference
for fungus gnats if you let the soil dry out on top and put sticky traps over most of the exposed soil the problem will take care of itself as the gnats are more likely to land on the trap than they are the soil. Personally, I keep sticky traps up throughout the grow jus tin case.
You can simply add mosquito bits to the top of soil or better, soak them overhand water with it, it will kill the larvae also. My go to when I was in soil , Promix not as attractive to them!
