How to beat fungus gnats

I am an amateur grower. Iv had a tent and a light for about 5 months now and iam struggling to get a good grow happening because Fungus gnats destroy it. Please help?? My green crack seeds just turned up and i do not want to waste this batch

Welcome to the grow show, 1st how wet is your soil , I had that problem I just dried them out. Cleaned up the place

I think i might run my soil a bit damp. Thanks mate

A mixture of 30% hydrogen peroxide with water sprayed on the soil usually gets them and doesn’t harm the soil.Diatomaceous earth spread on the soil between watering keep them off.

U can get yellow sticky traps too.

If you’re looking to beat the gnats, trap them with a cup of Apple cider vinegar. That
should help reduce the population,

If you want to chase them away, buy a few Mexican Marigolds at your local garden store
and put them in the tent with you plants. PooF they will be gone.

If you want them dead and gone for good? Neem oil, diatomaceous earth as a topping or
peppermint oil will kill them.

Or as @GhostGrow just said, sticky traps work pretty well too.

Marigolds huh? Like growing ones or just the flowers?

@GhostGrow
Throw a few nursery pots with marigolds into your tent and the gnats HATE the odor.
They will beat feet quick.

A fan blowing on the soil helps and lots of fly sticky traps

Good to know. I like natural solutions

also helps during flowering,
wink wink.

Microbe lift BMC. Add 5-10 drops into your water every time you water/feed. Get some yellow sticky traps for the adult fliers.

You can try adding perlite to the soil to improve drainage
