Love the turn around time with them. Unsure if for me it would be worth it due to space & lighting & possible low yield.
Update August 3:
Flipped to 12/12 today. Getting some good SoCal sunshine.
And dessert tonight: thumbprints made with home made apricot jam
Feeding today:
1 to 1 Micro and Bloom for 760 ppm and a PH of 6.2 for 2.5 gallons of R/O. I ordered the rest of the GH āsuiteā for the flowering cycle. Iāve been more of an a la carte kinda guy up until now. Iāll also try @dbrn32 suggestion of Epsom Salts during flower.
Itās double sweeeet, plants looking awesome and now I got the munchies, enjoy buddy
Everything looks great!! I love apricot jam especially homemade! As always beautiful girls!!!
Looking super healthy.
Do you ac in your grow room?
Iāve been able to manage without up to this point although a couple of times I wished I did. I do have an ac unit but generally when it gets that hot itās being used by us haha.
Sweetie in texas ive got cental air & an a/c unit going in tent room with dehumidifer going as humidity is about 70%.
Iām installing a mini split in my future grow room, but am wondering how Iām going to keep bringing in fresh air without losing all the cool air.
Supplement co2.
Yeah, Im hoping I can rig up a system where AC only comes on in extreme heat and fan turns off.
Whats the best, a large tank?
If youāre going to be running co2 a lot, probably a burner.
Got ya. Really donāt want to run CO2. I guess I need to set it up first then see what temps I am dealing with.
I hear you. One usually comes with other unfortunately.
I donāt know why I just liked that statement!
You can hit again and unlike lol. Or just leave it too
Im joking @dbrn32! I meant I donāt like the fact I need to run ac and CO2, but I like the fact that you told me the hard cold truthā¦
I tried to unlike it with no result!
Just worked.
Well you could try to fumble through running your exhaust on a recycle timer or something. That would bring some fresh air in and probably not exhaust all of your conditioned air. But your losing out on one or the other at least a little.
I donāt remember where you live, or if youāve even said. But bottom line would likely come down to how much of the year you need to run the ac or heat. For 2 months of the year, you could probably get creative and then just go back to traditional exchange. Much more than that I would just bite the bullet and setup an operational sealed room.
In in so cal. Not too hot.
Room is built out with 2x4s and exterior dry wall skin no insulation), door frame with no door, passive intake vent to outdoors, no exhaust/intake fan. 7x4 approx.
With 2 QB288 boards I have seen temps in low 90ās.
Using it to start seedling, veg, clone, etc.
In all reality I could do it without AC, lights run at night.
Do you think a 710 CFM exhaust fan with passive intake(fresh air)would exchange enough air?
More than enough in my opinion. In most circumstances you wouldnāt even need to run it wide open.
I know with bottles getting them exchanged isnāt bad, itās the initial deposit is usually couple hundred bucks. You could maybe try without and then go with a bottle setup later if need be. The problem with bottles is having to go through with loading them and taking them in. Deposit cost isnāt much different than going with a small burner to my knowledge.
