I bet the light cost more than damn light rail. Actually that’s an option for you. Can save on power and still pull the yield.

Light mover does the same indeed. When you already had a light it was a reasonable investment too. But if you took high end led tech pricing from 10 years ago it was probably still cheaper than a quality se 1000 and mover, and half the cost to operate. $1000 led tech in 2020 is now $300

Let me see if I understood the point the video was making correctly.
Selective defoliating, based on whether a leaf is adding more energy than it is taking from the plant, is all that matters.
Same reasoning would apply to snipping out the low down or new shoots buried in the middle since the energy to grow them isnt worth the output. Right??

Correct. Especially for outside like yours. Airflow is important to help repel molds.

@maplebuds that is a good article, my plants or some I should say look thicker than they are, I try to keep center of the plant very thin and then when we get close to mold season with buds formed I will start thinning the outside a bit more I also use Dr Zymes for helping stave off mold, I came to grips early in my outdoor adventure, I will loose some buds and even a plant or 2 just a fact up here in Northern lower Michigan we have lakes and water everywhere dew gets horrible and is the big mold starter here not so much catapillars. Good luck and stay vigilant when buds are getting big and plump

@Budbrother my Blackberry Tartz needs to be thined out in the middle. It has more branches coming off branches coming off of branches than any plant ive grown. After watching that video I’m not sure how much I should remove

Hard to tell in photos, so maybe take about a 1/3 the first go around. Clean out the centers.
