Yep companies have the green light to do research now, all those years weed and psychedelics sat at Schedule 1, not allowed for medical research and people jailed over it 
. I am guessing Eli Lilly knows this will help with depression and jumped on the psychedelic bandwagon, 3B is a big investment.
I watched a few Rogan interviews on DMT, he likes talking about it. There are folks trying to map out DMT experiences for commonality, maybe new dimension, looking at the laser code too to try and match symbols from user to user. Wild stuff. I can’t remember who the names were though. One was pretty recent.

Just read the WH rundown after I saw this email. Basically it went from the old, These drugs have no accepted medical use; keep them locked down. Today became, These may be legitimate medicines. Get the research done, accelerate the FDA process, and create a pathway for patients to access them.
It’s hope for sure, but whether that ultimately means accessible mushrooms/psilocybin for ordinary people, or just a tightly controlled pharmaceutical therapy administered in a clinic, is a completely separate fight. If big Pharma is in control, then we’re talking isolates they can profit off. I don’t see regulated home growing of plants or mush being allowed. There’s no profit in something that people can benefit from and for pennies.

This. It MAY fall to the way of cannabis, but with money to be made in retail, or money to be made with funded research (Oh, which is funded by the pharmaceutical companies that ultimately profit from them).

Psilocybe x zinnii nom. providence is an interspecies hybrid of Psilocybe pseudoaztecorum from tropical India and Psilocybe natalensis from South Africa.
Out of the many crosses we developed in our lab, this particular (F1) isolate displays significant hybrid vigor. The spores of Psilocybe x zinnil are viable and create fertile offspring, it can sustain its own population, and is genetically and phenotypically distinct from each of its parents, allowing it the distinction of, species.
For the sake of convenience, we have designated it Psilocybe zinnii named after the daughter of one of our technicians. Should the conversation lead to an official recognition of the species, more traditional naming conventions will be applied.
The unique-looking fruits were large, dense, plentiful and visually striking. Subsequent alkaloid testing revealed a surprisingly high percentage compared to Psilocybe cubensis samples.

I really wanted to give a plug to this until about the 11 minute mark. The speaker dismisses “modern led lightning” for what seems like a thought that a more intense light will shine further through leaves. But that’s not the argument, the penetration benefit from modern led lightning comes from an increased light emitting surface, leading to major increases in direct angular contact with the plant canopy. Which is supported by the mention of leaf angle being a contributing factor just seconds later. You can have positive results by increasing les angle just the same and this is done by having 1000+ light sources over several feet instead of one large light source that is typically just a matter of inches.
Other than that I agree and I have coached more to selectively remove leaves from top of canopy for air movement and help get those lower shaded leaves some photons.

After I saw a couple research videos I stopped the 21 42 day defol. I felt like an idiot. Last 2 grows have been minimum defol. I just need to do a better underskirt trim and I think I will do double what I was doing the old way. All the leaves we strip have to be replaced before buds can be built. I would much rather my plant be building buds instead of replacing leaves.

I’ll do some thinning for air flow, but I won’t remove a leaf just because it’s blocking a bud site. Buds don’t do photosynthesis, leaves do.

The simplicity of, is the leaf earning, is an easier way to discuss defol with noobs. We’ve discussed pruning for airflow for years, so most people know to pluck inners and lowers. Even so you’’ll see many over-crowded plants commonly. When I pluck I run a downward spiral, lollipop,sacrifice the wispy, and go for space around colas
