Those lights are really nice when you first start. I was finally able to replace the 3 cheap blurples I had bought on Amazon with 2 of these. Sure I would love to get the new HLG lights and all the new toys. But this one is affordable and does what you expect. I posted some pictures today of my results with them today. And for a noob, I am really proud of what I could do. Can’t wait to smoke it now!

Glad to hear positive feed back about them ! Yes I cant wait til my tax return lol, will be 100% legit setup to grow some branch breaking budz :grin::grin::grin:

@r00ster28287 I’m starting a cheap setup grow right now. Less than $200 total invested. Feel free to hop on over and watch. I’ll tag you in it

I started with a 70$ mars hydro 300 watt led, i now use that as my starter light. I moved up to a 1000 watt adjustable MH/HPS cost me 200$ with both bulbs. My plants are doing well. All bag seed last pic is 36 or 38 days into fower

Hello @r00ster28287 hope all is going well with things.
Life is a learning experience and is different for everyone.

I might suggest that you put some milk crates or something underneath the 2 short plants to get them closer to the lights. A simple cardboard box etc. whatever is big enough to hold them up higher to the light. Should help them along a bit!

@skydiver Thanks alot that is a great idea. going to take care of that right now.

I run two marahydro ts 1000s in a 2x4 tent. They grow great dense nugs. I have 230 bucks in the set, thats is 300 watts out the wall of bright qb power. I have them at 65% power too. They are really powerful lights.

Everyone always tries to push those quantum boards on people. Sure they good lights but they’re like $300 for 250w. I run a $180 315w 3000k cmh in my tent. Cmh has a wider spectrum than the qps. They put off a bit of heat from the ballast but I just took the ballast off and added longer wires. Now the ballast sets outside the tent and just the light and hood inside. Ky tent is 2x3 and I normally pull 10+ounces from 1 plant

that is a nice set up. @Axemanjake23
Give me a good idea on what I can do with the closet. That closet is 28" x 47" and lights like that would be easy to put in. In looking I am only about 4 to 5 ft from the air handler for my air conditioner. There is my exhaust vent set up and ready to go. Just gotta tap into it and put in a filter. I wont need an exhaust fan.

When I run the 20 amp circuit in from the power panel I will have plenty of power for lights like those. Man this is getting better and better! Thanks to all of you for giving very good suggestions. helps a whole lot.
