Topic says it all. Big green fella just sits there on the side of the screen while browsing the forums.
Makes it difficult to upload photos while posting 
I have a yahoo address for junk mail and put it in the box that pops up if you click the Green Dot. It went away after that.

I get on the site with a PC. There must have been some Discourse software changes overnight. I have a ebook icon on the right side of my screen and the site’s font has changed.

The green dot looks very annoying on a phone when presented as a text link, but not so bad on a PC where it is off the the right. It’s probably a good thing since more new growers will access the grow bible. I disagree with a few of the things in the grow bible, but it’s still a decent introduction.
Agree with you on the font. It’ll take a few days to get used to it.

Interesting. I have a ebook icon on my desktop and a coupon icon on my laptop. Refreshing the page doesn’t change the icon presented.

To get rid of this, I just clicked on it and supplied my email address. They already have my email address so no big deal. I then just deleted the email that they sent in response.
Now it is gone, woohoo!.
Edit: Mine was the $10 off bubble.
