Had an extra seed (no more room in my tent). So, I experimented with a small pot. Growing on my lung room desktop.
Been in flower a few days over 5 weeks.
Am I seeing foxtails? How bad do you think it is (if I have foxtails)?

What’s the lighting intensity and height set at Growmie? I do see them down lower on the plant which may not be light related but curious on the DLI/PPFD. I had an AK-47 that was nothing but one large fox tail and most likely genetic. You can trim them off, we’ve all smoked our share of fox tails

Thanks for responding. I suspect my lighting may be too intense.
I have a Mars Hydro light about 12” above the top. I’m told it isn’t a good light for flowering so I added some strip lights from ACI.
Two of my strip lights hang verticals so that may explain the lower foxtails.
I think my PPFD is over 1,000 but I need to check tomorrow with lights on. What reading don’t recommend?
Also, what happens if I don’t snip them off (but just lower the light intensity??

Not terribly high on the PPFD, i would raise it up some maybe around 16” unless it has a dimmer, seeing a little leaf curl. Is that a photo period plant on 12/12 or auto on 18/6?

Yes, it’s a photo. Been on 12/12 a few days over 5 weeks.
I’ll raise the light some and take a reading tomorrow

I use DLI on autos and photos to set my lighting and generally around 45-50 mid flower and lower that to around 40ish the last week or 2. With that said I’ve had some that were light hogs and some that fox tailed at lower settings
