@emgoldslo @NugFlush @Caligurl @blackthumbbetty
so this is what I ended up with.
Does it look right?
It looks like the crappy hash one of my friends had years ago.
I’m going to put 1/4 of a gram in a chocolate bar, and sample pieces I guess - if it’s 70% that would be 175 mg in the bar, if it’s 50% that would be 125 mg in the bar.

That looks right.
I do not let mine get to that point. I leave a little alcohol in mine. For that amount maybe a 1ml. For me it makes it easier to mix through my gummies.

That’s almost exactly what my first batch looked like. Is it kind of brown, dry and flaky when you try to scrap it up? Mine reminded me almost of crumble. Lol. I think I might of dried it too long, I was getting impatient as it had been over 2 days. So I turned up the fan I had blowing over and pointed it more toward the concentrate. I was worried I wasn’t getting all the everclear out so I think I did overkill and let dry too much. And that was the one I didn’t decarb as I was going to try and dab. I ended up rolling it a joint or sprinkle on bowls. I then decarbed and did another batch. This time I didn’t let it dry out as much, and every couple hours I would move the silicon container around a little just enough to move things around a bit. Lol not sure if that helped, but I thought maybe it would prevent the stuff from gumming up and drying out like first batch. But I think my real problem was just letting it go too long. My second batch was way more the consistency I was expecting. Got 6 grams from oz of weed. Made a batch of chocolates and they are good. Next time I think I’m going to filter it a few times to try and get out all chlorophyll and give it a more golden look. Hope this helps. Let us know how it goes after you sample

@emgoldslo @NugFlush There is still a little alcohol in there, I was waiting for it to all evaporate, but I’ll scrape it up and put it in a container instead.
Thanks for all the help - I thought the batch was ruined.
@Nugflush, I’d love to try a dab of it, but I decarbed it, can I still smoke it?

How did you make the tincture? QWET or let it soak? With QWET you should not have too much chlorophyll
I really don’t know for sure. I tried mine. Lol. But I’ll try almost anything once. I think I’ve heard other say you shouldn’t dab if it’s been decarbed. I don’t know why. I’d think decarbing it wouldn’t effect it in anyway. But idk for sure. Maybe it’s just a taste thing…but common sence makes ya think it should still get you high. It’s an answer I’d like to I know as well. Maybe @emgoldslo or @Caligurl can shed some light
No help from me on that. I use all mine for edibles. Hardly ever smoke
Let is soak? As in months? No…I did the 1 hour quick wash shake the hell out of it method. But please go on…lol
1 hour quick wash - you shouldn’t get much chlorophyll.
Green Dragon - soak for weeks or months. That has a chlorophyll taste.
Please explain further. Thanks
Oh ok. It’s just after I finished it and it looked like @Nothingshocking results, I started asking around …as did he. Lol. But when I showed the pic of my stuff to @blackthumbbetty she advised that it looked like I had plant matter/chlorophyll in it. I messed up and only filtered through cheese cloth instead of coffee filters so she said that definitely will give it a darker color . She suggested better filtering next time to give it a more cleaner look.

Ok, here’s the final concentrate - 7.7 grams of Qwet from 2 oz of immature shake
and the chocolate bar (used an old carry-out container) - s/b 200-300 mg in there
