It could be too much light or too much nutes. Some strains are prone to foxtailing.

Foxtailing is a phenomenon that occurs when calyxes form on top of others, mostly during flowering, so much that it’s noticeable. Some strains are more prone to getting foxtail buds than others ¹. Here are some strains that are known to be genetically predisposed to exhibit foxtail traits in the flowering phase:

  1. Blue Cheese
  2. Train Wreck
  3. Neville’s Haze

Please note that foxtailing isn’t necessarily bad since it doesn’t bring any harmful effects. However, it may suggest that your plants are under some stress. If you notice foxtailing, it’s important to take the necessary steps to fix the problem before it becomes worse ¹.

Check information on your strain here.

Looks great nice and frosty. Try raising the lights it should fix the fox tailing. I couldn’t imagine this not being potent. Your so close now I wouldn’t be to concerned. Nice nugs!

Good idea :+1:

Does not hurt anything but also doesn’t do anything for the plant.

This absolutely sucks when it happens
Better to let them go to long then the. Take them 2 early.
How long have these been in flower?

Flower was about last week of november or first week of December . So going strong for like 6ish weeks

Its seems like the buds are all leaves and stems.

Ok so i changed my mind lol i raised my lights as far as they could go and kept the fresh water absolutely no nuts ph 5.9. DWC. Hooefully she likes it and gets rid of the foxtailing

I’d run the fresh water for 1 maybe 2 daily cycles. Then once your soils is a bit dry. Put them down for 24. You want that O2 in a dry soil to suck the nutes from leaves.
IMO.

Sweet me too. DWC. ITLL flush in 1 12 hour light period. Need some light to pull water into the plant. Then 24 hours of dark.
That’s what I do.

Perfect!!
That’s what I have too. 8” inline variable speed depending on the outside temps. For me the next week is gonna be chilly. Turned it down last night, lights on at 11pm.
Check at 6:30am and CO2 on my environmental controls was showing low CO2. Had to kick her up a notch.

It’s been humid this past month

and I’m in week 6 of flower.

Looks to me like you have a ways to go. What strain is that. Ive had some lomon og haze autos that finished looking like yours.download the photone app and make sure your lighting is dialed in

I had the same thought. I cannot remember the last time I had a strain finish in 6 weeks and end up potent.

I would snip a small sample bud and let it dry 48 hours. It won’t be smooth, but try it on a clear head. If it has the kick you want then consider chopping. But I would give it another 2 weeks. I have never said I wished I cut that sooner unless racing mold.

The one in the back is bruce banner from herbies seeds and the front one is sour desiel from ILGM. Imma post some more pics from today. Looking thru the scope i see cloudy comes and a lot of clear yet. Tomarrow i will post pics of the them. I am not harvesting yet but am give them just water. I was using artisan well water. Works great! Big snow storm here so i cant get n e rn till the roads clear, i used my tap water, got the ph down and thats what they drinking now. I also raised my lights farest up i could and i turned one off and one dimmed to 50%. Right under 400ppfd. It was probally well over 1000 before as i have 2 spidar farmers sf1000’s and 1 evo sf1000 in a 2x3 tent. Would adding a bag of co2 have prevented the foxtailing?
