Fox farms flushing help

I’m going to start using the fox farm trio and I have a question about it. Do I have to use sledgehammer to flush the plant like it tells me to do on the schedule. Or is there other ways to flush while not using sledgehammer?

Sledgehammer does a good job. A flush can be accomplished more quickly, more thoroughly, and with fewer gallons of water.

I didn’t even know you were supposed to flush every third feeding. And e des up with 6 and 8k ppm getting in lock out and burning my plants. , I’m. Better now or my plants shall I say. Also I think the sledge hammer puts less stress because your not running as much water through them.

I am using the fox farm trio now. I am on week 6 since light flip. I have only flushed w/ water. I know that’s not recomended but things have been tight for me lately. So far so good, knock on wood. I will order some for my next grow.

I believe @Newt is a fox farm trio user. He sticks to the schedule.

I am a FF user. But more than the Trio, I follow the entire schedule, top to bottom.

What does it roughly cost to use the whole line up per grow? I’m assuming it makes big difference on the quality come pickin time? Opposed to just the trio.

That’s a great question, and I’m not sure I can answer it. Over time, I simply replace bottles/jugs as they get low. I buy the trio in gallon jugs, Bembe, CalMag, and Sledgehammer in quarts, and the rest of the liquids in pints. Some of those jugs/bottles last a very long time, and I’ve had the small containers of the dry supplements for more than a year, and haven’t had to replace any yet.
