Fox farm fertilizer

Hey was wondering if anybody have noticed on the bottle of big bloom that it says to be using 4 tablespoons of it well the ff feeding schedule say use only 3 tsps thats a big difference in amounts does anybody know the amount that i should be feeding

There’s not going to be much of a difference. I’d say feed the greater amount. All Big Bloom contains is the micronutrients cannabis needs (iron, boron, manganese,…)

If you are using FF products, remember to also feed Grow Big and Tiger Bloom, as these contains the NPK your plant needs.

Yeah im using the fox farm dirty dozen nute and i did go with the higher amount as of yesterday i got 3 ilgm blue dream going and just cant seem to feed them enough im feeding them a little over full strength now 2000ppms going in and getting about 826ppms coming out and have been feeding them this for the last 2weeks every watering
Ph in 6.5-6.8 and run off ph is the same
Started flowering 4/30 started showing flower 5/15 so about 2weeks of flowering as of tomorrow
Soil is ffof in 5 gallon pot
I water them with a gallon of water plus nutes till i get least a cup or 2 of run off
I will get some pictures of in a little bit when the lights come on they do look healthy over
All but the tds numbers been so low

The Trio of Grow Big, Big Bloom, and Tiger Bloom are all that is necessary. Cal/mag is an exception and you will need that too.

Good work. 1,000 should be your target runoff number.

Yep forgot to put that i give them about a teaspoon of cal/mag to every watering should i be worried about the tds numbers being so different from going in and coming out

Nothing to worry about. All it means is that your soil was depleted of nutrients. Once you get it caught up you should be able to feed less to maintain 1,000 PPM runoff.

The yellowing leafs are mainly lower ones but do have a few higher leafs to not many tho

It is normal for cannabis to shed its lower leaves as it matures.

Thank you @Fieldofdreams

That 4 tablespoons is for a serious heavy feeding. Don’t do it. Just stick with the actual feeding chart.

I have used FF exclusively since May 2018 and I have never fed with 4 tablespoons. The chart has always been accurate. Also a side bar…the PPM and EC is based on ALL of FF nutrients.

@MidwestGuy I have never needed Cal-mag before. Never have and the one time I did use it the two plants went down faster than a $2 hooker at a Football convention.

I still have it but my tap water must have enough or I would have serious issues.

Yeah i been using fox farms since about 2018 been the only nutes i have used never had a problem till now with feeding and keeping the tds where they need to be these are some eating machines seems to always wanna eat

I have had some eat 1 to 1.5 gallons of nutrient water every day or two. The bigger they get, the more they need to eat. :+1::+1::+1:
