Possible frost tonight. Will move the starter cups inside. The two autos in the big pots will go on my covered porch under a light for a little extra warmth.
Gotta love our Florida weather…lol, better than y’alls snow! Thought we were done with the threat of frost.

I believe she’ll be ok, but next frost advisory (tonight) they will all come inside for the night.
The other one seems fine. The cold didn’t seem to affect her as bad. I won’t allow that stress on them again.

I only took in the ones that are in the little starter cups. I didn’t bring in the two larger pots because I’m concerned about my wife’s cat thinking the perlite is cat litter.
We inherited her when Irma came through. One of the ferals had a premature birth and this was the only one to survive.
She abandoned the kitten. I’m assuming she felt it was too weak to make it, I don’t know. Anyway, we now have an inside cat.
Today I’ll make sure I can secure the plants from the cat…

You should grow her a nice, big pot of catnip. If she has her own, she should leave yours alone. They can be trained to stay away from house plants.

My wife thinks the catnip makes the cat mean. She won’t buy anything containing it! Lol
I told her she just didn’t understand kittens. She thought it was cute when the cat would bite her before the teeth came through.
I tried to tell her she was making a mistake by playing so rough with her. Naturally, my wife figured I didn’t know what I was talking about because it was so cute trying to get her like a pit bull. Lol
I named her Pepper. Sometimes she’s sweet, sometimes not so much. Luckily, since I didn’t rough house with her, I usually get the sweet, mild version!

Yeah, they do get a little crazy on catnip, but I wouldn’t say mean. They just get stoned!

I was raised by a very antisocial mom that absolutely loves animals. I tend to trust them more than us.
I’ve never had an animal intentionally lie to me. Sometimes the dog says someone is here, but he’s just stupid, not lying. Lol

I tried to tell my wife that same thing. She knows now! The cat goes to her for play and me to chill! Ha ha! I love it!

Water gun or spray bottles will keep the cat away from plants she will run her ass off after a few Squirts after that she will just see the bottle pointing and run

Yeah, not this cat. Not having her mother to clean her, my wife would bathe her in the sink. This cat we have to fight to keep out of the shower while we’re in there.
This one loves getting hit with a stream of water. Tried it. Only succeeded in wetting everything below her.
