Here are the products im getting…they were really awesome and sent me this starter kit. When i was inquiring i didnt even really know about flora flex, and i just learned about it 2 minutes ago when they sent me the shipment info. Im so amped lol

Can i just add how crazy it is that everyone reading this post just has seemingly an endless amount of herb they can access whenever. I know at some point in almost every one of your lives you wondered where your next smoke was coming from, and if youre like me…what kind it was going to be was never even a question that had value…because there was no answer.

Lets all just take a moment to appreciate just how nice it is to walk x feet and reap from the effort we have put in, and the bountifulness and complexities that this plant offers. We are all willy wonka.

They are a dry nutrient company so better than a bottle.
However alot of different products to sell.

If you can get Jack’s I would recommend that but if you can’t dry nutrients is always the way to go.

Ill see how the results are with these guys before i contemplate jacks any further. Their customer service is amazing…very nice. And after some research ive learned that theve been a hydro cannabis fertilizer company since before it was popular. Ive got a lot of hope for these guys.

Well they are dry so should be good, yeah I was using chemgro and they have been supplying hydro nutrients since the 60’s for “tomatoes” but revamped to a 420 mix a couple years ago.

I found Jack’s easier and less complicated as well as cheaper, chemgro was great but because I can only mix nutrients in a reservoir once every 2-3 weeks Jack’s I a no brainer.
Maybe if I ever go back to being home every day I can try other brands.

I’m sure they will work great, good to hear your experience is already very postive.

I’m excited for you. I’ve always been curious about them.

I use lotus nutes. Super easy. Only 4 parts. However, they’re super expensive.

Like 50x the price of Jacks. But I tell myself, why ruin a good thing?

Someday I’ll switch. Until then, I’ll continue to kill it at a dollar and change a gallon.

If your super amped about it, start a journal. Tag me in it and I’ll be happy to follow along.

And how long are those one pound bags supposed to last you?

I just relocated a few lbs I sat in a closet earlier this season….thought to myself these will make some lovely edibles but ended up using it as a pillow later that evening

If i did the calculations right then 1.25 full grows…however im not sure if i did. Their calculations are based on these hydropot things they sell. So i just set it up so that it would be the same amount of water/plants equal to my nutrient tank.

I had asked for a sample bc i wanted to try something besides advanced nutrients, so i was floored when they sent their entire starter kit haha. Very nice people too.

If i do a journal ill @ you.

Hey, welcome to the community. Id recommend starting a new thread. Im pretty new, and im not surecwho else will see this, but when you do theyre going to need more info like soil or hydro, feeding schedule, any pics to see if there is other symptoms. Most importantly are you using an ec or tds meter to monitor how much nutrients the plants currently have access to…it could be that they need more nutrients. The more expercienced growers will know better though.

@dbrn32 @Covertgrower @oldmarine @beardless

@robnow13 would need to know more about how you’re growing. Hydro? Soil? Coco?

im using hydroponics. hydroton clay pebbles. flora series nutrients, temp. 75. humidity %55. 1250ppm municipal water supply, starts out at 7.8 ph.

thanks, otherwise plants look great, gigantic.

well put exo. agreed

im at about 1300ppm avg for food. maybe im over reacting. early on {H held well at 6.4. but as they have gotten bigger the PH slips to about 5.5.every few days. im growing in clay pebbles and flood and drain. i always feed when lights are on. only off when lights are off. the plants look very healthy. leaves are bigger than my whole face. no brown tips, no curling leaves etc.

Ph in hydro should be 5.5-5.8

What i read is that a dropping ph could mean low nutrients, meaning the plants are sucking up nutrients at a higher rate than water, or the reverse if it was rising, and if it was a perfect balance, the ph would stay the same. With hydro, the optimal ph number is 5.8, because different minerals are absorbed better at different ph numbers, from 5.5-6.5, however the majority of minerals overlap at the range of 5.8. There are some that are slightly higher though, like calcium for instance. So its generally good to have a rising ph. You start somewhere around 5.5 to 5.8, let it rise to between 6 and 6.2 then drop it again. As i said earlier, rising ph would signify that theres more nutrients than the plants need, so they suck up water at a higher rate, making the ph climb. I guess you could get the same results with the dropping ph, but i think most people prefer to have a little more than a little less, when it comes to nutrients available to their plants.

However, having said all that, there are a host of other issues that could be affecting ph, such as bacterias, that could also be an issue. Stuff thats above my knowledge. So if you’re worried it could be something else, the experts on here would get that sorted out quick, if you just copy the text from coverts post, paste it into a new reply, and fill in the answers to the questions.

If your plants are doing well though it could be nothing too serious. Id just keep a close eye on it, because you dont want it getting to a point where your plant starts struggling.

Good luck!
