Fiz's Second Grow - LSD Auto triplets

That’s actually a pretty good idea.

We keep a big bag of them just for the dogs.

That would never fly in my house! Our dog Maddie knows better than to take food that’s not on the floor or directly on the couch. Training and consistency are key.

I know, I haven’t trained a dog for years - my two greyhounds came with good manners. I got a list of trainers so I can work with him. I’ve gotten him better about some things, but the food issue… :woman_facepalming:t4:

We’ll get there I’m sure. He needs a lot more exercise, but that’s entirely on me.

Aren’t greyhounds supposed to be one of the easiest dogs, I think? I know someone who adopted three, it seems that sharing the couch is the biggest issue, lol. Kudos to you with Odie, he’s cute as heck, I think I could only deal with a greyhound. I don’t have any animal companions, but I watch lots of animal videos, that might count, no, maybe not. :joy:

Spray bottle with water usually works wonders on little dogs.

Either that or Pet Corrector. It’s essentially just a quiet air horn or really loud canned air. It’s just loud enough to startle the bejeesus outta dogs. Of my 3 dogs, the Pet Corrector works wonders on 2. The other one only responds to squirt bottles. The 2 who hate the canned air could care less about the squirt bottle. :man_facepalming:

I have a 143 pound Rottweiler that will hide under our kitchen table when the squirt bottle comes out. He didn’t respond to water in the beginning, so wife substituted water for vinegar. Couple sprays of that and we don’t even need to have anything in the bottle anymore. You’d nearly piss your pants when my 3yo daughter catches him with any of her toys. Soon as she opens cabinet he’s peeling out for cover.

Thank you everyone, he hates water (except to drink) so sounds as if that’s just the thing for him.

I’ll have to get one for my husband too. I mean for him to squirt Odie, not for me to squirt him though…

Retired racers are typically very chill, and well trained. They are used to hanging out in their (large) crates, so they love to have a pillow to lie on. Neither of my girls ever got up on the furniture.

Both Jinx and Willow were just about silent, and would stay in their beds when I had workmen in.

I’d have had another greyhound but I’m no longer strong enough to lift one, which can be super important if/when they get ill.

Spousal training program. Sounds like a viral video to me :rofl:

Poor little buddy has a protozoa infection in the gut, he’s not showing symptoms thank goodness but he has to take special medicine for a few days, the monthly wormer pills don’t touch that.

I had a jar of pill paste left, which apparently is so yummy you can hide anything in it. He’ll be sad when he treatment is over and he’s not getting his extra treat in the morning!

I had to buy him a muzzle, b/c his worm eating habits probably gave him this thing. Not the worms themselves, but the dirt inside/around the worms.

Silly thing.

In growing news, I went ahead and ordered the matching oscillating fan for my A/C tent. I woke up with a kick azz headache, so once that finally passes, I’ll likely set up the autopots and put my lights back in the tent.

I’m wondering if it makes sense to get whatever adapter it is that integrates a humidifier into the controller. My humidifiers already have hygrometers in them so I may not bother.

Sorry about Odie’s infection! At least the pill paste works so that he can get the treatment pills.

I hope that your headache is gone!

Sounds like you are making progress on the new tent/equipment setup. :+1:

Those S6 fans are nice! Super quite until full speed and then still can’t hear outside the tent! The bracket is easy to adjust and put the fan far enough from the pole to oscillate without stalling on both walls.

If your humidifier already has a hydrometer built in might as well save the money on the ACI one. Plus it’s still preorder as they are gone within minutes of getting into stock. Have been on the email list for them for a while now.

Well thank you for clearing that up! I thought I might be doing suspenders plus a belt there with the humidifiers, so I appreciate your opinion here.

The fan literally just arrived, I ordered it this morning so that’s a happy surprise.

Watching “how to set up your autopot system” because the written directions are frankly kind of awful.

I am, but it’s taking forever. I’m feeling kind of dumb as I work my way through, so we’ll see.

Ummm, I don’t know that phrase? What does it mean?

I have to agree with the auto pot directions. YouTube is your friend. :joy: I use it all the time for figuring stuff out.

Oh lord me and my archaic sayings! It means “overkill”. I don’t think I need two different ways to be sure my humidifier is on.

And yeah, I’m watching You Tube. That will help.

It’s all good. Different areas use different phrases and so do different generations. More than understandable.

Yeah, the only real advantage I see I of the ACI one is that you can control it from the app and it has their warranty.

I have three humidifiers, all the same. If/when I burn through those, I will likely rethink it then.
