Hello everyone! I figured since I’m starting a whole new setup it was time to create a new thread for 2023’s grow(s).
I set up my two pot Autopot system today, and rehung my lights. I added a pole fan - sprung for the AC one so it would work with my controller.
Since I have the super hard water problem, I decided to take a chance and not put the carbon filter in until they get to be teenagers and start stinking.
I expect to start sprouting my seeds tomorrow. I am growing a Critical Mass photo so I have a high CBC/medium THC strain to make my husband’s capsules. I’m still playing eenie meenie miney moe as to the other strain, I had planned a Bruce Banner auto. I’ll probably make this a game time decision though since I’m spoiled for wealth of seeds - thanks to @Graysin and @The_Cannabowlist ! I also still have seeds from my two contests, plus some from my original purchase - so many seeds!
One suggestion is to set the autopots in a pan or something to catch and stop any possible overflow. I have not had a grow yet where the additional insurance was not needed.
I like to grow in a frame. It is built to use a 18x24x3" dough proofing pan. The pan has saved my bacon several times. It fills to the height of the float which then prevents any more water entering from the reservoir.
Yeah, I have to get out and get a couple of pans. It’s a really good idea, and I’d rather have them and not need them than need them and not have them.
