I missed this. I don’t believe I have a section for making butter. But here is BTB’s
@caligurl How about Hard candy? Have you had luck with say Lemon Drops? i.e. I’m wanna extract lemon peel for the flavor oils and my thc. Have you done this or gotten it to emulsify, or best to measure oil for dosing and re-dissolve into a EtOH tincture and add in by volume? Thoughts?
Plenty good
Thank ya sir.
I saw that pic and thought it was some of the coolest stuff I’ve ever seen.
You just have to know how many mg’s you want in each hard candy. Lets say your recipe makes 100 candies and you want them to each be 35mg.
100 x 35 - 3500.
Divide the 3500 by 750 (3500 / 750 = 4.666
You need 4.666g of wax/concentrate
I have not made hard candies yet, but yucannot add the concentrate in before the temp goes down or you will kill the thc
Ingredients
120 ml or 1/2 cup of light corn syrup;
235 ml or 1 cup of sugar;
60 ml or 1/4 cup of filtered water;
1 tablespoon of any flavor you wish;
4.666g concentrate
Needed
Candy thermometer;
2. Saucepan/pot;
3. Sticks (optional);
4. Mold
Step 1 . Take a saucepan/pot and place there water, syrup, and sugar. Mix that all and turn the heat to medium-high.
Step 2 . Stir the ingredients constantly until the mixture becomes uniform and sugar is dissolved. Once it happens and the blend starts boiling, put the thermometer, and monitor until the temperature reaches 150°C / 248 f
Step 3 . Once the temperature reaches the needed point, turn off the heat and take away the pot/saucepan with the mixture. Leave the thermometer in the pot/saucepan and wait until the temperature drops to 120°C.
Step 4 . Once it happens, add the flavor along with the cannabis tincture/oil. Stir all that until the compounds combine.
Step 5 . Take the molds and fill them with the blend. If you wish, you can put sticks to easily remove the candies from the forms. Besides that, lollipops with sticks are more comfortable to lick. Leave the lollipops to cool down. 15-20 minutes will be enough. That’s all!
Caution! It’s highly important to monitor the temperature during all stages of the process of cooking the marijuana lollipops for getting “hard and crack” candies.
I would bump that concentrate amount up just because of the ‘.666’
This is crazy because I was going to tag you on my journal and ask for an idea of how to do the math or ask you how you do it lol
Thanks @Pet_de_Chien for the question!!
LOL… I’m not superstitious!
750 is the average g’s in a gram of concentrate. It can go up to 850 or 875!
Only with the number 666. I’ll grab a pack of gum if I’m at the convenience store if my total ends with it
So one of my girls is needing calmag. Her leaves are getting darker and a little rubbery looking. The soil is still pretty damp from Sundays feeding. Would it hurt to give them a gallon tonight?? I fed them Sunday. I figure if I give them some calmag tonight, I may as well give them some fish & seaweed and molasses, too.
I would still wait until she needs water… that’s just me.
I am. I think they’ll be due for a drink tomorrow evening. Thank ya kindly!
I pulled a nice nug from my cure yesterday evening. Been in cure since 9/23, so just shy of 3 weeks.
It smoked great! Smooth, nice smell, perfect consistency and great buzz. The Grove bags rock!
I put a couple grams to the side when getting her ready for cure. Even only a couple of days she tasted better than my first. I broke up one gram wand literally got enough resin off my fingertips to top a bowl with a tiny one hit hash ball.
When making compost tea, do I need to pH the water? And do I do this before brewing? Or before giving it to the girls? Thanks a million!

I’m not positive, maybe someone else knows. I have read about teas because I was curious about trying one. I read that you should start out with water between 6.5 and 7.0 but after that
I know absolutely nothing about teas…I know I have seen others make them…if I remember their names I’ll tag them for you
