My rh started going down in the box almost immediately after my last dry report. So, in just a while, I’m going to bag all of Jillian up. Probably have less than a gram to knock off for final trim…
Final dry weights. One is the smaller popcorn, the other is the bigger nugs. 85.8 total grams. A hair over 3oz. Not bad.
Better than Jordan, that’s for sure. I thought it was kinda cool the same weight between the smaller and bigger buds. She also has a much better structure going in for cure.
Before it gets dark, already looking tired; Suzan has almost caught up with Sandra. Less than a week ago she was half her size. She has doubled in size the last week and is flowering faster than her stepsister on her left. Calling today officially flower day, and Sunday morning they will both receive 1 gallon at full strength.
Well, over the last 24ish hours, my rh has slowly climbed up to this. Thinking it’s time to get the bags out. We’re looking at the numbers on what’s in the box??!?! Not, what’s not in the box?
After final trim Jillian was at 2oz, 26g’s. I also got a .4 gram ball of scissor hash off of her. The trim will go into the bag of shake and sugar leaves I already have. It’s like 2oz, so I’m going to make some brownies for Halloween.
Clipping her buds at day 5 and boxing them for another 2, before bagging, was the way to go. Much better, more even dry than Jordan. Not mega crispy or fluffy. Sticky as all heck. Two weeks before I sample anymore of her, besides knocking that hash ball down.
Girls have been getting full strength, but haven’t got a full gallon yet. Well, there’s a first for everything, so I decided to do like Emeril and kick it up a notch. Full gallon, full strength, each.
Flush in one week. I think I’m going to stick with the FF on them because they’re only about 6 or 7 weeks out. I don’t want to shock them and end up with a mega crappy harvest.
Super tired today. Just gotta keep an eye on the little ones and see how they took the big gulp. I’m going back to sleep.
Scratch sleeping, city is installing a new drainage system by my house, so ya. Anyways.
Suzan. The spot where I’m pointing grew almost 2" overnight. She’s growing like a freaking beast. I really, really small freaking beast lol. Still not a single 5 pointer showing, though…
Sandra is still doing good. Hopefully this mornings feed encourages a really strong push for her. I’d really like her to start filling out like her sister, who has caught up in height, by the way…
Personally, I wouldn’t flush this soon. I only flush if I feels like there might be locked out because of salt build up. If you water to runoff each time, there should be none to little salt buildup. I do flush about one week before I plan to harvest.
I just go by the FF thing, well, sort of. Nute wise, I do. The flush I usually wait til trouble signs. I think the mykos and rock dust is kind of helping avoid lock out. I guess, I’ll do that though, wait til they need it. I was going to because I had planned on switching one of them up as far as nutrients go.
Hey I saw your concentrates blog. Well, some it’s friggin huge lol. But I want to make butter this week. Do you know abouts where’s that may bees on the blog???
I tried going by the FF schedule and it seems I had a lot of issues. When I switched it up to basically only go by runoff numbers and what the plants were telling me (yes, they talk to me LOL) I was way better off and used less nutrients.
Last 2 grows I didn’t flush until the end but I did give them two separate doses of Kangaroots. I also found that Epsom salt helps the plants uptake nutrients better so I had to use less… On feed days, I add 1/2 t to a 5 gallon nutrient solution.
My last gave me no issues at all. I think I could have let her go longer, but I’m glad I didn’t. Smoked a j of her last night with my wife and we ended up BOTH eating a dxxx sleeve of Pringles each lol. But my first started having, I believe calcium def and her leaves started getting real skinny. Not wrinkled or tacoed. Like shrinking though.
Girls took well to a heavier feeding yesterday morning. They are both starting to produce trichomes on their leaves. I think they’re a little waterlogged from the feed and it also rained early this morning. Breezy and sunny today, so they should perk a little more.
About to go check on Jillian in her bags, see what kind of smell she’s getting. She never really got much of a hay or grassy smell. It stayed pretty much like bud, just faded a good bit. I have the bags in a box (not the one I used to dry), with a meter and the rh has been going up on average about .1% per hour, since I bagged her.
Here’s the girls saying good morning. I can’t wait to see what they do over the next 7 or 8 weeks. I hope I can get them to give me 2oz each.
@dbrn32 sorry to bug you. I know you’re the man around here when it comes to lights.
I was originally going to have a 4x7x8 closet, no tent, but have had to downsize my future grow space. I’ll be growing 2 plants, most likely in a 4x2. Will the HLG 300L RSpec get me there??? I want to get the 350r, but it would be an extra couple of months before money is right.
