Hi - This is my first time trying and I am doing it for my husband! I have tried to do some research but I still have some unanswered questions.
My goal is to grow outside but I understand that it is better to start inside maybe for the first two weeks.
Is this type of light will be enough for seedling?

If I am planning to have them outside where the maximum daylight in June will be a little more than 13h, should I still have them on a 18/6 schedule during their first two weeks?
Thanks for your help!
Welcome.
How many plants do you plan on germinating?
That light has a 3000k spectrum. It’ll work, but for the first couple weeks you could just use light bulbs with a 3500k-6400k spectrum. I go 24/0 lighting for germination. After the first set of real leaves appear you could place them in a sunny window until they’re ready to go outside.
Are your daylight hours increasing, or decreasing from 13?

I plan on germinating 5 plants.
I already have the light so if it is enough I guess I will use it. Also, this light can go up to 5000K.
The daylight hours will be decreasing after the summer solstice so if I am correct, the decrease in light will put the plants in flowering mode?
And I don’t understand if I keep them on 24/0 for germination, and then in a sunny window or outside, the less amount of light during the day will put them in flowering mode, isn’t it?
Let me know if you don’t understand me, I am french and still learning English!
