Ok so I have 40 gallons of substrate in 5 gallon containers that’s roughly 40% peat, 30% perlite, 10% egg rock, 7 % lime, and 13% vermiculite. The lime is pelletized as that’s all I could find. I crushed it as well as I could maybe 1/4 dust, 1/2 smaller pellets, and 1/4 larger pellets. I have the advanced nutrients base(micro, grow, bloom), I also have 70 to 80 gallons of collected rainwater. I have the necessary water Ph equipment.
So from this I have 3 questions. Is the lime in that condition going to be able to buffer the peat?, Will I have enough drainage? Will that base of nutrients contain all needed nutrition?
