This is what I was thinking
Minimal ducting should be pretty detail forward if you have the fan going at a low clip it should be pretty constant …move the heater around or away if temps get higher
This is what I was thinking
I could be wrong ( I dont use tents ) but I vented rooms like this and did similar ducting though the wall…
its sucking from the ac in the other room and blowing from up high to low with cool air (or hot if you need) and sucked from high up to get the hot air pocket out the roomI see why you would do that if you needed to cool the room because cool air falls. But my problem is needing more heat. My basement is 57° F, so with exhaust and no heater, the tent is too cold. So with the heater on the floor, and the fans, it heats the cool air at the bottom of the tent and the intake air, then pushes under the pots(they are on risers) and up around the cool edges of the tent. Theoretically
Swap top and bottoms for what ever you need I think you could make that work either way lemme know !
The only reason i didnt do it that way, was that the first tent would be getting “fresh” air, and the second tent would get the “used” air. Maybe im looking too deep into it. It would make heating easier for the second tent…hmm
I think with constant flow your air wouldn’t get stagnant by the time it made it 1 tent to the other because the first tents air won’t be stagnant …it will be as stagnant as the outside the tent air …now if you have it kick on every so often just run it a lil longernso the air that comes in is more then a tents worth of air… do the math of your tents cubic feet and the amount of air your fan moves (cfm)s multiply the tents feet by 4 or 5 and divide by your fans capacity to ensure your leaving all fresh air in and just bump it on for same amount of time each time … you’ll be more then fine …
I like that. What I’m wondering is, how often should it kick on to avoid the air losing enough co2 for the plants to efficiently breathe? The fan I’m using is adjustable speed, 1-10. I have it set so it ventilates the entire tent each minute(~110 ft³) which is a speed of 1 consistently. I do have a timer i can use to make it turn on every say 30 minutes, 15 minute increments.
It lasts quite a bit … and I believe it was @Myfriendis410 that said he grows at 7100 ft Bove sea lvl and probably has alot lower ambiant co2 them most growers with no I’ll effects… if your worried about if you keep your fan on low you will never deplete your lvls in my eyes… but periodic bumping of 1 tent or 2 tents is gonna be the same thing… with 2 tents your on period just extend it for same effect as if in 1 tent
Fed White Widow yesterday:
Should i be continuing the feeding? Or should i start just watering with ph’d water? White Widow #2 is looking a bit more pale since the flush, but also showing burnt leaf tips over the whole thing, and some small edges. Also the buds dont look like they are bulking up as much as the other White Widow and Bubba Kush.
Well the clones seem to be liking their new tent. Fed them today. Starting to get a little crazy keeping track of veg and flower at the same time .
Ok, so this is day 38 from the 12/12 flip, this plant has some pretty dense buds and looks like quite a bit of amber trichomes…seems a bit early though. @fano_man
Those are sugar leaves they always get a lil amber before bracts of calyxes (same thing) pull the bud to the side and look deep inside the bud for a better overall sencesus
I also encountered this little issue on both white widow plants:
Now a days it really seems so …boys wanna be girls and buds want bananas… its bananas!
Sorry to see this! That really sucks man… I like bananas… But only to eat!
I’m soaking 2 Amnesia Lemon seeds from Crop King Seeds. I’m thinking of either Fluxing, or Scrog. But i heard scrog is better for hydro due to the need for flushing and hand watering for me. I want to fill the 4x4 tent and get the best yield i can with my setup.
