First time growing need help

Thank you good sir. I’m excited about this as it’s the first time I’ve actually grown anything. When I bought the set up, tent, 2 hydro mars 600 lights, carbon filter etc, it came with 3 plants that were about 8 weeks old. But they were in great shape when I got them & didn’t have to do much to them at all. So now I’m learning. So far everything seems to be doing good. I really appreciate all your help!

No worries man. Holler at me whenever you need to

Hey big dog always give them brake 18/6 is the sweet spot for me…

They seem to be doing great. At what point should I worry about topping? It? I’ve read people saying they cut the top of their plant off…should I do this? What is the point & advantages to topping them versa not topping them?

Topping them will stall the plant growing UP and make it widen out. It also creates two main stems instead of one. I like topping once during the grow but that’s it. It’s all how about how big you want your plant to be. I would suggest you try it out at see how you like it. An alternative to topping would be to bend the main stalk over towards the side. That’s called LST or low stress training. Basically you just use garden wire and bend the plant into the shape your wanting. At the end of the day, all of these methods work…it just comes down to preference and what you like to do. Try topping this round or try topping one of them and just LST the other one. You can decide what you like best.

And on another note…if you want to ask me a question make sure to tag me by putting the @ symbol in front of my name amd it will send me a notification. I might not see your question if you dont.

Do you use super thrive…

No, I’m not sure what that is. I put a little bat shit in the soil. I used Fox Farm Happy Frog soil

Well here are my babies. They seem to be doing good, although I really don’t know what they should look like. What’s your opinion? Anything I should change or try?

Soil looks pretty dry. I would up there water intake a bit

Thank you sir. I will

How much water should I be giving them in this stage? I didn’t want to over water them, I started out with a half cup every other day & now that I’ve potted them in the big pot I’ve upped it to a quart every other day.

I would be giving like a half gallon every 3 days

Be careful and bind them over to get more light in the middle

YES this is most definitely a male

I had to put a net up to help support their weight. They seem to be loving life. I’ve bent them down some to get light to the middle, & I’m thinking I need to be doing some pruning soon…any suggestions? @imSICKkid
