Yeah so far no luck doing the soil method maybe not big enough I’ve been taking 3-4 inch cuts the two times I did it but I’m gonna take a 7-8 inch next
I found an outdoor secluded spot last summer.
Less than 3 hours direct sunlight, if any, daily.
Clones in dirt with domes.
Successfully.
Pictured below.
Threw the plant I didn’t really like that much into flower on the 1st just to have an idea what to expect being my first grow and how well the other plants are looking I definitely don’t want to mess up on them I have a smaller plant in with the rest and it’s looking a little rough I’m guessing at this point it has to be root bound it’s in a 1gal the rest are 2.5 and 5gal wasn’t planning on transplanting it again but I might cause if I don’t it’s gonna be up and down til the end I can feel it.
My clones I cut to the depth of a solo cup with three to four inches on top, so I guess about 7-8in. The roots only grow out from above the cut, not from the cut end, so I don’t worry too much about bounding before it would be time for transplant. Just take everything off that goes under soil. It will take a few weeks sometimes to see roots.
So far everything is looking really good besides the little one think I burnt it most of them are running ph of 6.2-6.7 a few running 7.5 also ppm for most is looking good I think lower ones are running 450-600 the others 1200-1400 ppm the back 3 are needing to go into flower by the 1st just gave them a little hair cut so give a few days of recovery and then scrog the other ones I’m gonna main line. Finally got my humidifier and clone dome so see how that plays out.
