First Time Grower, Indoor/Outdoor GG4/CandyJack

@Covertgrower @Bulldognuts Lol I was afraid of that. So dial it back a little bit back to 1/4 dosage and try to work my way back to 1/2 in a week or two? Maybe it’s because I added new nutes too. I should always be adding the new nutes at 1/4 huh?

I am far from an expert on clones. I have done them with good results for the few I have done. So I can’t really say what you should do. If they were mine. I would basically start over with them. meaning re cut the stem, shave them and then the clonex and into the rooter. You might also want to get those in a cup with dark sides too. To protect the roots from light once they get going.
The reason I would start over my self would be every thing I have read says not getting these in a plug or soil right away can cause an air bubble in the stem. And basically stop it from growing. I can’t say that is true. But sounds reasonable to me.
For your leaves. It almost looks like a ph issue for the rust. For the leaves. I just ran into that last grow. Looking back at my notes. I had to feed heavier, upped the cal may to 2.5ml pr gallon, and it straightened me right out.

@Not2SureYet Damn man, okay that makes a lot of sense. And I agree with you, that’s exactly what I’m going to do. Restart that is, go ahead and recut the bottom and act like I just took it from the plant huh? Might as well cut off the lower dying leaves too? It works out well because I didn’t like how I left them relatively tall to begin with. I really appreciate it man, I think you saved me. Today is going on 13 days and no roots. This is what they’re looking like currently. Thank you for the reply and the info!

That is what I would do. And I found on these I have now. Leaving to many big fan leaves really slowed me down too. Once I trimmed off all the lowers and only left the top set. All 4 took off for me. Your still look healthy. SO I think these will make it

Sounds good! Thanks man, I’ll post pics later once I restart everything

Thanks to the idea of @Not2SureYet I restarted my clones today. I checked all of the clones and 3 of the 4 I have left had no roots (I gave 2 away to a buddy of mine) put the 3 with no roots in new peet plugs and cut them shorter. Trimmed off lower dying fan leaves as well. Put them back in clone x and immediately in the dome. Let’s see if I can get these to root. Look at little roots coming out on this girl tho

The stems are still nice and green. These I have now took almost 3 weeks to show they were ready to grow. Slow, but healthy

Last night I defoliated the girls in the flowering tent, added a fan to the top of the tent, and had the ac on lower than usual all in an attempt to lower my temps because I’ve been noticing it going up to 80-82 in the middle of their day. (Which is in the middle of the night for me) so I get up this morning and notice the tent is at 84 F … I don’t understand after all my efforts the temp increased… any ideas?

Here are where all my fans are located. Maybe I need better location?

Front of the tent, top left and top right
Back of the tent in the middle

Is that the house ac or do you use a portable ac in tent. When I was having temp issues in tent I decided to get portable ac for tent. Some of the more experienced growers may have a better idea on how to lower temps.

I am out of likes. But those are normal temps for me. I do better on the warmer side than the cooler side. Also, are you taking the temps at the plant level or else where? I have about a 4 degree difference at plant level. On the lower side :slightly_smiling_face:

Yeah I’m talking about my house ac. Which is a wall ac in my apartment, located not even 10 feet away from the tent… yes my tents are in my living room lol… so usually the tent is just about a degree above the temp I set on the ac unit. Which is usually set at 73. So usually when the lights are off it’s about 73-74 and when the lights are on, the temp jumps up to 78-82

you’re in a okay temperature range I think you’ll be fine.
Nice setup !

Well all the girls here seems to be doing okay, a little bit of a wilt but that could just be because later today when the lights turn back on, it’ll be time to feed. Just had me a little alarmed when I got up and saw the temps because I’ve been keeping them lower. But still puzzled how the temps went up after I did all that. I thought for sure there would be more air movement after defoliating and adding another fan… and the temp is at plant level. I have a sensor probe right at plant level that is connected to my ac infinity T6

Cool, I was hoping so. Thank you!

Your temp range is OK, but you might be able to get it little cooler if the the fans were lower, with the fans up high, you may be blowing heat from the lights back down on the plants.

Running mid 80’s is not a big deal. I have never had an issue when it comes to these temps. :+1::+1::+1:

Awesome man, that makes sense! Thank you very much sir. I’m going to lower the new fan and see how that helps

Yep, let hot air rise and be exhausted, don’t blow it back down.

First off, thank you all for replying so quick to my post I appreciate it.

Would it help if I moved that black fan from the top left corner to the bottom of the tent blowing up on the girls? On a lower setting so it’s not too powerful. I can’t just lower it because it’s not a clip on like those other white ones.

Or would I be better off buying another clip on fan and replacing the top left black fan with it? Then I would be able to have it in the middle of the tent around the same height as the other clip ons
