I would take one and place it out side the tent and blow air into the lower vent screen. I have my 2x4 and 4x4 set up that way when I use them
I’d either move it down like you said or lower it by hanging it with one of those ratchet pully things.
Yessir, I actually already do that. Like this is right? So then is your tent blown up like a balloon as well?
Try to adjust your exhaust fan speed to overcome the positive pressure inside tent or you will have an odor issue.
I don’t seal the fan up like that. I just set it on low and let it blow in. You can adjust the out going air speed if you need. I use the same fans that you have. You can also lower it like @Hellraiser mentioned. You just loose space at the lower level then. I need all that room for my plants lol
Hmm okay, I still don’t fully understand what is the positive/negative pressure in the tent. Which is which? Would positive pressure be when the tent is blown up? And I do have a carbon filter in there. That should help with the odor a considerate amount, right?
Yeah I seal mine because I don’t want any air leakage, I want it all to be going into the tent blowing it up and blowing the hot air up and out
Now I see your active (follow up) the yellow sticky paper you suggested to eliminate nats as work great thanks
The lower fan only circulates the air. Your top main fan pulls out the hot air
Basically positive pressure would be when the tent walls are blowed out .negative pressure would be when the walls is sucked in. You want to maintain negative pressure to keep odor under control.
Side note you guys: the clone I didn’t touch yesterday is rooting nice!!! But the ones I recut yesterday obviously don’t have roots like that. What do you think my best plan of attack would be?
Should I keep her there with the others and hope they can root soon so I can transplant them all at the same time? Or
Should I transplant her now and put her in a cup and right back into the dome with the others?
@Hellraiser @Bulldognuts @Not2SureYet @TLC @Covertgrower @OlyBoy98503 @Zee @kellydans
I use those outdoor too. They do work great
Oh wow, okay thank you. So then once the buds really start smelling I’m going to want to lower my intake fan setting and kick up the exhaust fan in order to get negative pressure and less odor. Do I have that right?
Yes, that would be correct . If you are concerned about odor.
I’d plant the rooted one and put back under the dome for another week. Don’t want those exposed roots to get air pruned at this point.
I put all my fans on bottom facing up. Now I do have one fan on the heatsink to help cool the Meanwell drivers. I also have a fan on top of the tent to help suck out hot air.
Then that is exactly what I’m going to do.
Nice, I’m going to put that top one on the bottom then and see how that works out for me.
I’ve noticed that you put your clones into see through cups so you can see the roots. The light doesn’t affect the roots at all? I ask because I’d like to do the same thing
I keep the clear cup in a non clear cup, 2 cups - 1 clone LOL, so I can check out the root development.
