how they? i went with HLG because of the high praise and wanted to buy the best quality now so i dont have to spend even more later on haha.
and about the training you mentioned in the other thread, i am going to try to put a scrog net an inch above the plants when i flip my lights to 12/12 after they grow a couple more inches.
the plants were topped about a week and half ago.

It would help u get more tops on top of the ones you topped extra is good u can still do both I never Try scrog.

After raising lights all the way up to below the carbon filter and doing some math, I realised I need should flip to flower so I can still have 18 inches between the light with the assumption that the plants will double in height. Iām going to put my scrog net in soon 4 inches above plants so they can grow into them during the stretch.
Going to start 12/12 tomorrow
Last (3rd) HLG 300L should be coming in any day now too

You want to use the screen for bud support then? Usually plan would be to put them in and train plants to it.

I wanted to spread the plant out into the net during the stretching phase, is this not how I should do it?

Thereās a lot of ways you could do. If you think that will fit your needs, try it and see.

Put the net an inch above the plants and realised it will not be practical for me and the space, at least with the 1 large net that I have that covers the whole tent.
So I did a pretty big (at least for me lol) haircut, cutting all the little and lower branches and some middle section and will end up switching to 12/12 in a couple days instead.
Next grow I think I will LST to keep my height lower so I can veg for a bit longer.

Iāve only topped once.
Iād top againā¦ and maybe again after that. You have the room, and the lighting. Your plants are growing nicely. The bigger they are the bigger the yield.
