First Time Grow - Sour Diesel & Super Skunk Autos

Looking for any advice, input, or helpful tips that I can use for my first grow attempt. Sprouted on 1/16 (planted in ffof soil). Attempted a fim about 10 days ago. First batch of nutes (Jacks 3-2-1 & Fish Shit) added this week. Not sure if I should be attempting some lst at this point, or keep it growing!? Its been a fun month so far, learning as I grow  Hoping to upload progress along the way

Discoloration/ Burn Marks from watering?

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

I would start LST as in spreading all the branches out and pinning or tieing them down. This will expose those hidden bud sites and help with air circulation and allow the lighting to hit all those areas :love_you_gesture:

You’ll love the Sour Diesel, big producer for me and super frosty :love_you_gesture:

Lower leaves can and will show damage first (with mobile nutrients). It’s not necessarily a problem. If this were my plant, I wouldn’t worry about it…

I only have twine on hand to tie down with until I can replace it with metal (if needed due to moisture). I’ll give it a shot, then post a few pics after. Trying to maximize my yield just like you said.

Your Sour Diesel looks so good! Keep up the good work and hope to see some good results like that myself. One of my favorite strains… had to start there!

Just kinda let them be? Or better to get take em off? Was thinking of removing a few to gain better light as well, but also dont want to stress or stunt growth too much

I do a lot of defoliating. When I decide to do it, I pick a mid sized leaf and remove every leaf that is larger. At this point (if I use your pics as a guide) I remove every leaf attached to the main stalk. I never remove a leaf attached to a bud site I intend to keep…

Attempted lst training and some slight defoliating. Only removed some of the larger leaves blocking areas that may not be receiving as much light. Wanted to take less vs more in the beginning. Especially since I don’t want to incorrectly remove a leaf and possibly compromise the yield

Hopefully this looks right. I guess time will tell how they both respond. Light is setup roughly 23" above at full blast per manufactures specs
