When I harvest my bud I hung it up and it was cured dried within 3 days and all the buds are falling into shake. They lost their color I mean the the butter still good but it’s not too how would you say easy on the eyes…lol
This is way too fast of a dry. And curing should take weeks. I’m gonna go on a limb and say it was way too warm, with little rh in your drying environment. You can try to reconstitue some moisture by putting a small piece of orange peel in with the buds for a day or two.
Shoot for a slow drying period. 8 to10 days would be good. temperature 65 to 69 degrees an humanity 40 to 50.
For a lot of us temps in the 60s is not an option. Can’t make it happen in the warmer regions of the US. Humidity can be controlled to a degree but 60 degrees, no way.
This is how I manage to get as close to 60 degrees for the dry tent. Can’t do it in the colder months when its too cold for an ac in the window but it works great right now! The humidity is not too hard for me because its naturally humid here. I do have an exhaust on the side that you can’t see here.
