You happy? If she is happy, you win.
Good to learn and enjoy your plants.

I think so lol this is my second grow and I feel like I should have trimmed more or trained more not really sure which on my first time seems like I had a lot of little loose buds towards the bottom I really appreciate the quick response I just got done with it and was nervous as hell I did it wrong :metal:t3:

I refer often to Growweedeasy DOT com. This is how one of its founders Nebula Haze defines LST
Low Stress Training or LST is like bonsai for cannabis plants. It’s the practice of gently bending stems and tying them in place to drastically change the shape of the plant. This is done to create multiple bud sites, even out the canopy, and overall help you use light more efficiently.

I will add, to achieve a flat wide even canopy you need to break the apical dominance of the main stem. You do this by bending it to the same or lower height of other branches. Or, by topping and then tying the resulting new main stems.
As your plant currently is, the main stem will keep growing straight up, faster and more than any of the side branches.

YT has Bill Ward videos “CRACKING” sound for stem “BREAKING” (training).

I have not seen a lot of his vids but what I have seen gave sound information.

i WOULD Say the same about you. I appreciate reading your sound information you share with others.
I spent years paying tuition to learn. This costs less, not really, just my life, the rest is nothing comparitively speaking.

And so be the start of the CLONE evolution, in perpetuity.
Tha’t my game.

So just to be sure cause I’m still pretty green at all the language lol I need to cut the tops of the main stems instead of the fim I’m really new to all of this thanks for all of your info everything is much appreciated

Very kind words thank you. My teacher that shared so much with me has moved on to another platform so I try.
As for clones, I have to learn to take them later in veg. This one I had to butcher to fit in the frame. But she is now doing OK

Two different techniques, affect the plant differently and similiar. Not double-speak, but sounds like it, sorry. APICAL is top, bud is bud, top dog or bud exherts dominance over all subordinate buds.
Removing some plant material will change the balance of all inside activity.
Gibberelium, maybe.

USU, Class of '76. SOILS or Botany 330 class taught this.

This came from an outdoor plant at the 3.5 foot level. Super Silver Haze seed plant from ILGM seed purchase, planted 4-1-2022, Clipped for clone 7-1. Been in my new clone room. took a month, got roots.

Got dirt for roots last night 8-14. clipped her TOP BUD and a few fans, reduce her need for water while adjusting from water to soil. It was 20 inches in length. now shorter at 14 inches total 7 above/below. Trmmed a few side branches that couldn’t get above dirt.

Cuttings taken 3/8

I tried to keep them small but I didn’t do a very good job. 6/16 preparing them for their final final location

:point_up_2: my approach as well, makes for a quick pre-flower when you flip the light versus additional veg time waiting on sexual maturity :love_you_gesture:
