Pot for pot has their lovely starter kit with everything you need for one 3 or 5 gal fabric pot. In that they have 2 magnifying lenses for your phone. I was planing to buy one of those jeweler magnifying lense sets that attach to your glasses (and have it as a steampunk accessory when not in my green thumb persona) but when I saw those lenses in their cute velvet bag I knew I couldn’t convince my husband it was a “necessary” expense. He’s already questioning the economics of this and I’ve only spent $500.

Thanks @killadruid as I said in my blog I’m medical growing for my aunt. Hubby is like you could have just given her the money so she could buy it herself. You going to throw away your plants when she dies?

Nice see I spent about 1800$ on my first grow. I dont go buy weed anymore unless I run out. Now I’m up to 2 rooms and other areas. I would think ur hubby would wanna grow to save money rather then spending 200$ an oz
Hahahah yeah @borialis I went all in when I started probably about 1500$ and my wife was pissed but as she’s looking at the buds developing she is happy we did it the way we did. I’ve taken pictures with my phone and my camera and I can tell they are great pics but can’t get any good trich pics. As I see everything develop I’m enjoying it more and more and see how rewarding this process has been. I like the setup I have now but thinking that a 2x4 tent might work better as far as ease of access I think a Scrog will be in the future and depending on how things progress I want the rewards or having the room for cloning and maybe even trying hydro. Will see how this all turns out and can’t wait for the end result. The amount I’ll save with just my first harvest as long as things stay on track will be well worth my investment.
So here in WA it is only legal to grow medically. Recrationalily you have to go to the store.
As I said in my jurnal I’m growing for my aunt. She has cancer that has spread to her liver, left lung, and spine. She’s in horrible pain with only increasing doses of pain meds, on oxygen so no smoking only edibles/extracts/distillations. If she gets a Medical marijuana id I can register as her grower and go from 4 plants to 15, but time is short and my hubby thinks that I cant get a harvest in before it’s too late. He thinks I should have just handed her the money for her to go and buy it for herself rather than go to all this effort. I would love a decent sized tent and all the wizbangs to go with it but I am on a crunch to prove this is worthwhile wile I am still legal to grow.

You need to get with @THCCBD she knows all about the RSO and how to administer it for it to bypass the liver for it to kill cancer cells. @borialis

Growing Cannabis takes experience and knowledge and I am still learning. I am in IL and only the medical cannabis patient can grow cannabis also. However, we are only allowed 5 plants per household and only we can grow cannabis indoor only. So, having enough material to make RSO is always challenging for me. I don’t know the exact situation with your aunt, but it sounds like she may need RSO treatment as soon as possible. When my husband was in so much pain and near death, none of the prescribed pain meds helped him, but RSO did. My husband and I don’t know if RSO will cure his cancer or not, but he is still doing well thanks to RSO.
If you are seriously thinking about the RSO treatment for your aunt, you may have to buy the bud from the dispensary and make the oil yourself (buying bud and make the oil yourself is cheaper than buying extracted oil from the dispensary) until you can harvest your own. In general, 1 pound of top-shelf dried buds can get you approx 60g RSO (60 days) of treatment.

RSO (Rick Simpson Oil). There are so many clips on how to make RSO on youtube.

Here is more information on administering RSO suppository method.
The reason for the suppository method is high bioavailability. Cannabis suppositories deliver around 80 percent of the plant medicine while taking cannabis orally delivers around 35 percent and smoking around 15 percent. So, rectal delivery of cannabis provides the maximum amount of oil delivered with zero head high and no known side-effects.

So I leave tonight and right before lights come on so I woke up early and got them watered this morning and here’s some pics I got. The lights came on during water so I finished as quick as I could. It looks like they are packing some weight. I did feed them pretty heavy this time and will see how they look when I get back Sunday. @Killadruid @Myfriendis410 @Drinkslinger @Juanhdtv

I can’t wait. First time I’m going to a state with legal use recreationally and hoping on getting some of the varieties that I have and see how they taste and then compare. This grow is Maui wowie only but I have some la confidential and some nyc diesel so maybe a variety grow next time? Also can I start seeds in this tent for 2 weeks at 12/12 or should I wait and get them on a 18/6 routine as soon as I chop?

I put my seeds on 24/0 for the first week. Then go to 18/6.
You don’t need a tent. Just a 60-100w equivalent cfl will do the trick.
