Thank you for checking out my first journal!
This journey started as an outdoor RDWC of 5 ILGM Godfather OG with 4 seeds cracking and growing starting back in August ‘22. After a GNARLY hurricane, I was left with one that I was able to save. Through lack of power and the stress of hot summer days, she started flowering WAY too early which I let her finish her popcorn, topped and crossed my fingers as I attempted to flip her back to VEG indoors DWC under 4x 6500k T7 fluorescent bulbs.(I definitely need to upgrade when money allows. 3x 4” air stones using RO water and FloraNova with ORCA. Weeks 8-14 I ran 1200ppm while aggressively training.
With only one plant, this girl was dubbed “Highlander” and I knew I had to maximize yield with limited resources. Through LST, Super and Monster Cropping for an additional 14 weeks of VEG… I flipped her to 12/12 three weeks ago today with around 40 noticeable flowers starting to build. I just dropped her ppm to 900 before adding Dynomyco and some Fish SH!T and my solution is changed weekly.
Looking forward to learning and sharing with y’all!

2/4 Wk3 Flower (main branch)
Should I lower light to try to get denser development across the canopy or does it look good?

A look into my LST method. Keep in mind this is a re-veg. I knew eventually I wanted to train as much as possible in a rectangle and because I am using T7 bulbs which are weaker, I started very strategic with pruning consistently to allow new growth an opportunity to get some light. I was already planning on keeping her veg for at least 12 weeks for training.

Im not a hydro guy but is that water looking a lil murky?

Yep you’re right. I’m testing a personal experiment with infusing powdered Dynomyco into my nutrient solution. The murky is all mycorrhizae and Fish Sh!t.

If anyone can advise on bud development for the Godfather OG? I’m using a shop light with 4x 6500k bulbs which I just lowered to about 15” above the canopy. I’m hoping that this will help keep the flowers tighter but am also curious how large I should expect them to get? Just the start of wk3 and while they are frosty, they are small.
Also, any thoughts on switching lights to 14/10 or 16/8?

My gfog buds are never huge but they are very dense and trim up really nice. Will be interesting to see how yours finish using shop lights.

Im running god father og’s right now…
I have 2 in flower, week 9 from light flip…
They are small and one looks to be finishing faster than the other…
Both are pretty small plant’s , about 3 feet which is small for hydro…
So far im not to happy with them , but i will clone them and run them once more just to make sure that it wasn’t me that was the issue…
Not really frosty , but super sticky …
