Godfather OG flowering early

I have a Godfather OG growing outside and it began flowering around the middle of may, well before i would expect. This strain is a photo but seems to acting like an auto. Anyone else experience this?

How many hours of sunlight is there at your location?

If it is a photo period, it is likely you just put it out too early (nights too long) and it started to flower. The bigger problem (well, maybe not a problem) is that as the days lengthen and nights get shorter, the plant will likely reveg and go back into flower in late summer early fall.

I did get it going pretty early. Might put it indoors at 12 hrs light to continue flowering without reveg kicking in. Do you think that would be best?

Thx…

About 14 1/2 right now…

Well I love the Godfather OG .I would move it inside and finish it.if you have more beans I would replant for the outdoors.
I did two gfog last winter and yielded close to a lb. GFOG packs a serious punch, definitely a late night sleep medicine.enjoy

What they said. If she reverts, it’s gonna get flat out unruly at this point. Keep her flowering if possible

She is inside now and hopefully will make the transition smoothly. Thanks for the feedback.

I feel your pain planted mine outside about a week ago and they look like they’re starting to flower never had that happen before always bring them out n the 20TH to harden then plant them 5 days later oh well what are you going to do.

I had the same situation. Germinated on 3/6/24, put outside 5/15/24 started to flower around 6/6/24. Brought inside to finish off with 12/12 light. They didn’t respond well, got really thin and lanky. Pulled the plug a couple of weeks ago. Zero yield. On the bright side my outdoor clones from same plant are doing great!
