Hi everybody! Hi Dr Nick!
Anywho…I’m doing my first indoor grow and I’m hoping some expert eyes could take a boo and let me know if there’s anything that needs some tweaking. I’m using a 2x4x6h tent, 6” exhaust fan with speed controller and filter, homemade light board (learned from helpful people on here), 6” fan, and they’re in fabric pots. I’ve moved them to a 12/12 light schedule, and I run the exhaust and 6” fans all the time.
Thanks for looking

Looks good. I have done some autos and came out great. Blueberry, amnesia haze, northern lights. I have just my northern lights left right now.
these are the 2 blueberry autos.

I am not the expert you’re looking for, but your setup looks good to me. That perch that the pots are on looks a wee bit precarious to me, but maybe that’s just because I wouldn’t trust myself with that setup. But it looks like you have plenty of room for stretch. Will that light cover the whole tent? Just keep an eye on Ph and PPMs as you’re feeding them, and RH, of course, and you should be all set! Good luck!

They look great . May I suggest you put another tote in there , one under each plant . I would hate to see a picture of one upside down if it fell off . Looks like @WonkaMan has you covered .

Thanks for checking them out! You’re all correct of course, I need to get another tote in there, it is definitely a little hairy as is.
I’m going to finish these two with this light and if it turns out I need more I’ll build another one.
The humidity is a bit lower than I’d like but I mist them a couple times a day to keep them nice and juicy.

If they are in flower now, I wouldn’t worry about low humidity (so you could stop misting - which could also burn the foliage). Low humidity is good when they are flowering (40s-50s). My own tent is in the 60s or 50s (RH). I try to keep it lower, but have trouble keeping it much lower than that.

Ah, that’s right, I did read that the rh should be lower in flower but then promptly forgot about it. Thanks for the heads up!

I would lose the totes completely set them on the floor they will double if not triple in size during flower but the set up looks awesome

I’d be a little goofy to ask for help and not listen to the feedback! The girls are on the floor now, safe and sound.

Thanks @PurpNGold74. It was more to get some fresh eyes to give me some feedback but I’m sure I’ll need more feedback soon enough, so I’ll use this thread and make it a sorta kinda journal

Nice! Since the other klutzes on here already hooked you up on the gravity problem I’ll toss in my 2 cents to see what everyone thinks.
You might want to roll those pot-edges out, instead of folding them in. You’ll get batter airflow over the dirt and less chance of mold.

Hmmm, I did not think about that being a potential problem. I folded over the pots because a) I didn’t put enough mix in one of them b) to get easier access for watering and c) to keep the potting mix together and water focused on the the centre.
So nothing that is super important, more of a tweak and I can easily change back.
I thought it would be ok because of them being fabric pots where the whole benefit being the airflow through the pot.
No good?
Think it was just a minor observation. U can rock with it either way. Highlight of that point. Pay attention at the crinkles for old water = mold. And if u need a airflow boost flip em. Best of luck

Actually, the watering should be focused on the outer edges until you start completely soaking the pots each watering. Make the roots go looking for it instead of sitting in their recliner waiting for you to bring it to them LOL

@Whodat66 oh really eh? I had assumed the opposite, but that does make sense. I guess I’ve focussed on the centre to keep the amount in check and to keep it from leaking out the sides. I’ll give it a shot next feeding, thanks!
