Thanks. So I should just take leaves. Not the very bottom branches? @KoolHandLuke
Ok cool I just wanted to clarify. I personally would rather have 4 really health buds up top than 8 half buds but I wasnāt sure with them being autos if it was advisable. Cool, so tomorrowās water day and I guess cleanup day too.
I grow big, bushy trees. I donāt do LST at all. Mother Nature doesnāt so why should I?
Neo, IMO koolhand and MrPeat have you covered. I donāt grow autos. I play Godā¦ laughing. @LoCoRock
Itās all learning and adjusting. They look happy and healthy.
These are autos
Because they are starting flower and are autos, I would not remove the first node branches. I would however, follow that branch out from the stem and remove first and also the second growth tips ie new braches / suckers that would eventually produce small buds. The time to have removed these first node branches would have been when younger.
My mistake, will not be the last time
Looking good I see no problem with good light penetration or air flow, Nice plants.
What if God was one of us

Just a grower like one of us
@KoolHandLuke, @beardless, @Covertgrower, @MrPeat, @Zee. Thanks alot. Do I need to clip ends of the leaves for the clones? Iāve seen some do it and some not. I am going to clean them up tonight so I just wanna b prepared. I still have rooter pods Iām using for the clones and will put them in with seedlings. Thanks again for being so descriptive in the responses. You guys have helped me feel confident thru the process. In a week or 2 Iām gonna need help getting ready for harvest. Thanks again
Cutting the leaves on clones after cutting is a personal preference. I havenāt bothered, and the plant will scavenge the leaves for nutrients, but other than that works that way too. Clones look a little rough on start.
I only trim clone leaves if they are gonna rub on the side of the domes ā¦
Lmao, I just read that too. I am not going to be cloning my autos. They dont yield much as is, I can just imagine what the clones will yield. I will wait to clone the Cali dream fems I am starting now. These autos were more for the learning opportunity than the final product.
@KoolHandLuke
Thanks @Covertgrower and @LoCoRock. Iāll be seeking more in depth help with cloning when my fems I started are ready.
Please donāt link competing seed banks.
Am not cloning, am going to reveg. .
@Covertgrower are we allowed to post our emails publicly if we choose?
@Zee, I thought about trying that with my fems, I just heard about it reading Hellraiserās posts. Is there a link you could share for info about the procedure?
No personal information.
@OlyBoy98503 post is the one I learned from. Hellraiser jumps in and gives his advice on doing it indoors as Oly is outside.
