First indoor grow journal.... enjoy!

I would recommend you turning the fixture down. It’s unnecessary to have it all out in veg.

Sorry people have abused the PM’s here, and have been disabled.

something I decided to do is buy a 1 gal garden sprayer and use that to water, doesn’t disturb the soil and you can water where you want. I’ll let you know how it goes. They’re looking good Luke!

@Highwayman420, is it an auto watering system?

Nope just a basic $27 pump sprayer, but it allows the water to slowly soak in instead on pouring like I’m doing now.

Ok, update time. Last night when I checked on the girls I noticed some sadness. After checking the soil I realized is was time for a feeding. So, 9-24 the girls got this: 1/4 tsp grow, 1/8 tsp micro, 1/8 tsp bloom, 2.5 tsp cal-mag, 5 tsp kelp, 5 tsp silica, ph’d at 6.5, and ppm’d at 584. Most of the ppm was ph up and down lol. I made sure ! to check #s going in and I logged the ph and ppm of the runoff (see photo). So it was definitely the right time for me to not only water but to feed too cuz I checked earlier and the girls look awesome. If you look close you can see a couple of them are starting preflower. I hope they go nuts over the next couple weeks because they are still so small. I am making my focus from here on out the health of the existing branches more so than growing more because more than half their life has passed and they are only a foot tall, some not even that. So, that’s where I am at with the first. I’m dropping some beans for my next run. I will be starting that journal soon. Anyone that has participated in this grow I will invite. I really appreciate your help everyone. I really could not have gotten this far without your help.
So I have a question: Has anyone heard of dipping your buds at harvest time? I heard about a 3 bucket dip n swirl. 1 is lemon juice, 1 is peroxide water, and I cant remember the third one. I was told it makes the curing better, makes for a smoother better tasting smoke, and delays the drop in THC levels.16010556367023608921222496518073|375x500

I did a bud wash, as recommended by other members, and I always will after seeing what comes off them. Indoor grow… i did 3 buckets, peroxide mix twice a d then a clean rinse. Search bud wash for the video provided by the pro

@okie, thanks alot. @KoolHandLuke, @Highwayman420, @Covertgrower, question guys, I popped in on the girls tonight and I had lightening of color in the middle of my leaves and canoeing. I have a couple good pics and I have a feeling that it was light related. Side note my heat had jumped up to 84° in room because my exhaust fan was unplugged for a couple hours (my fault around dinner time)

Sounds like rapid growth.

@Covertgrower, not a bad thing tho, right?

Nope. Not bad.

Since I fed them (2 days ago) they have leapt upward. I honestly have to say I think the 2 I topped and the runt look like they might be the best yields. The ones left alone are looking long and lean on nodes. Almost like there will be one little bud on end of each branch. Like a dumb dumb sucker. @Covertgrower, since I’m already getting hairs I won’t mess with em now I have only done very very minimal cleanup/maintenance.

what light schedule are you running right now? I had mine on 24/7 and it was recommended to go 18/6. I did and they seem alot sadder.

@Highwayman420, I am at work sorry for the delay in responding. I have had them at 20/4 since the start of veg.

Ok. So new update time. I got my 7 day stretch of 13 hour shifts done so I can log the good news. I’m seeing white hairs, yea!!! So, along with the updated pictures I have questions. So brings that they are just starting preflower am I ok with clipping the lowest branches ( the tiny buds spots) since they are autos? If yes, which ones would you suggest I clip?
Results of experiment so far:
The 2 plants that I attempted LST are by far the slowest growers.
The ones that I left alone are getting tall but are rather thin on nodes.
The best looking plants so far are the ones that I topped they have the most branches and look to ha rd best the most
My runt has met and exceed all my expectations. She is a beauty
I will post pics in order als,I will also include pics of my star for the new grow. Btw MYKOS IS THE TRUTH!! My plants broke soil in 24 hours this time versus a week last time thanks to soaking Rapid Rooters in the Mykos water dissolvable form.

Yes.

Everything else looks good.

Looking good bro, me personally would only remove leave in the bottom third of the plant for air flow and any leaves blocking bud sites. Also leaves that are pointing in towards the center. Remember trimming redirect energy, but your leaves are the Solar panels for energy so you have to find a balance. It’s a art form you have to master depending on the type and cultivar you have.
