Apart from tidying up cords , how does the tent look? Any advice would be much appreciated, I’m also getting a thermometer. Also it’s in a garage in a place that’s cold in winter cheers!!
3x3? Light brand model? Looks nice! How many plants do you intend to grow?
I know it’s six foot but always forget floor size because I didn’t buy it but it’s not that big floor wise , the light is mars hydro 300w and I was going to try 2 plants ?? I hadn’t got to that part yet but would love advice thank you !!! ![]()
Looks pretty good to me ![]()
I run my lights at night and off in the day both winter and summer.
It gets really hot in the summer daytime and cooler at night so easier to manage the heat at night.
Same thing in the winter, its colder at night so the lights help keep it warm in my house ![]()
Just something to think about if the cold or heat becomes an issue at all.
Nice tent 2 plants should do well. Are you going to grow autos? Grand Daddy purple is a good strain. Good luck keep us posted!
Ive got Bruce banner autos
Im growing autos , do I have lights on for 12 hours and off for 12 also do I need to run the fan and intake while light is off?
Run autos on an 18/6 light schedule from start to finish Growmie. If you’ve got a power strip surge protector you can zip strip that to one of your upper poles and plug all your accessories in to tighten up the cords. 2 autos and that light will work well, what medium will you be choosing to grow in ![]()
Do you mean 16 lights on and 8 lights off ?
Sorry 18 lights on 6 off
Yes, you can also dial that back to 12/12. Auto flowering cannabis will flower under any light conditions but the 18/6 has worked well for me and occasionally switch that to 12/12 later in flower ![]()
Do you turn your lights up more each cycle?
Not sure on the medium yet , in Australia can’t seem to find the right coco mix only coco peat and not sure if that’s ok
Personally I prefer coco, it gives you more control of the root zone. For bag medium I really like the Fox Farm Coco Loco. Most amended soils will feed the plant for 4-6 weeks before nutrients are needed. I use synthetic fertilizer and you’ll need a PH and TDS pen to accurately feed and monitor the run off. If you’re going the organic route these 2 pieces of gear are not as important ![]()
Organic journal above if you’re interested ![]()
Very impressive!!! Nice
Perfect ![]()
. Absolutely you can start seedlings in this coco. You’ll need to feed the plants a
Within a week from ground breaking. I take the coco and saturate it with Jacks 321 at a PH of 5.8 at 800 PPMs and drop my germinated seed in it. I sprout the seedlings in solo cups and transplant around day 15 ![]()
I’ve got some of those seeds for my next grow. Can’t wait to get those beans to sprout.
