This is my first grow. Growing White Widow. It is about 1 inch tall and seems to have stopped growing. Only too a couple of days for it to pop out of the soil and about 4 days to get to 1 inch. Is this normal? And how much should I feed it? Don’t have a ph meter yet. I have one coming.
I just planted a white widow auto that seems to be doing the same thing. I broke ground nicely, sprouted up about an inch, and then has not done much since. I am wondering if it is my seed. The seed was small, and white, not like I am used to seeing. But for your questions, you don’t need to feed her for a bit. The two round leaves that come up first actually feed the plant to get her started. So just light misty water…they are easy to overfeed so just go easy.
@DavidJEK no need to feed at all. What kind of medium are you growing in? Your plants are growing roots right now and you won’t see a lot of growth above ground for a few days. Be patient.

I just received an answer to my question and was told I don’t have to feed the plant now. Also was told the plant is growing roots and not much growing above ground right now.

@DavidJEK, That is what I said, you don’t have to feed her, the little leaves do that,you just give water. You have to keep her moist, not wet. My plant is moving real slow. I will just be patient. How old is yours? Mine is about two weeks I think, and very little movement. I’ll post a pic of mine tomorrow in my journal, and I would love to see a pic of yours. Is your an auto, or photo period plant? Since we planted close in time, we can watch each others grow.
@Tr33 - I have 2 hydros and 1 coco coir pot with blueberry autos. 1 hydro is freaking thriving. The coco is also pretty great. The other hydro is really healthy looking but not growing at anywhere near the pace of the other 2. I change and nute the hydro water and water the coco with nute water every 3 or 4 days. Should I also be misting them all?
