First Grow, First Chop

Well this girl is getting to the finish line and I don’t want to mess it up now. I have combed through every thread I could find about when to harvest and would just like others opinions. She sprouted on Sept. 11th and began flowering around Oct. 9th

I am starting to mostly cloudy with a little amber here and there. I would definitely like a little more of a couch lock with this as I plan on using this one for my insomnia.

Turns out it’s a little more difficult to take a picture through a loupe than I thought. I’ve heard everything from ready to chop now to wait a couple more weeks. What do you guys think?

Thanks for the advice and sorry for adding to the millionth “is this ready posts”

You have 4 to 6 weeks to go yet.

Awesome, that’s what I was thinking but the amber was throwing me off. Just didn’t want to wait too long.

Be sure that you are looking at trichomes on flower calyxes rather than those on leaves. Those on leaves will mature more quickly than those on flower.

Learn something new everytime I’m here, thank you!!

What is strain? Sometimes genetics won’t simply let you get to couch lock by letting trichomes degrade more. In my experience this will usually make you a little more sleepy but not necessarily stoned still lol.
